Good episode tonight, especially Gordon being a badass, and Bruce beating up Tommy.

@Nomis

Yeah, Bruce and Tommy look to be 13-14 ish, so I hope they show a flashback back to when they were about 9-10 and playing chess.

Alfred reminded me of my dad in this episode. Every time a bully picks a fight with me back then in elementary school he tell me "Son tell me where he lives, I'll drop you off to his place and do what you gotta do I'll be right here watching" and that was my dad.

In one episode we have Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Black Mask, Hush and the Crime Doctor.

So...we got Black Mask's father in this episode (not to mention kid Hush). I wonder if we'll be seeing the rest of the False Face Society.

Interesting Note:

In the comics, Richard Sionis was so corrupt/immoral that he and his wife dropped baby Roman Sionis on his head as a boy but, instead of worrying about his safety, they put all of their effort into covering the incident so it wouldn't damage their reputation. If I remember correctly, Roman (the future Black Mask) goes on to kill his parents by burning the house down.

I wonder if the show will go that dark...

Still one of my favourite drawings by Lee

Ah yes that ending pic is so awesome. If Snyder can deliver some glorious cape porn like he did with Superman and by using both Lee and Tim Sale's art as inspiration, I can die happy.

This show has more blood than all the DCU, . The fights were good, Gordon is a badass, Bruce is a badass and Alfred is insane!!!! I think he is a ex-S.A.S and an ex-MI6 00 agent.

This show IS in[frick]ingcredible! Too bad, Arrow, and the Flash are on CW. They have a director that directed, I shit you not, MVP: Most Valuable Primate. Oh and the writer who helped write the Green Lantern movie. Oh and let's not forget the man who loves to perpetuate shitty television: John Behring. Gotham, is amazing and I was wrong for ever doubting it. (I mean you can see why I did though, The Arrow is lame as hell.)
