HARLEY QUINN DC Universe Animated Series Teaser Released; Kaley Cuoco Heads-Up An All Star Cast

The first trailer for DC Universe's Harley Quinn animated series is now online, and this looks like it could be something special.

Clearly taking a page out of Deadpool's playbook (the Merc With a Mouth's own defunct animated show even gets a mention), the teaser is not afraid to poke some fun at Warner Bros.' live-action DC movies, as well as notoriously hard-to-please fanboys.

Check out the teaser - which features Quinn and Poison Ivy introducing the series from Arkham - below and let us know what you think.

Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco will voice Harley, and she'll be joined by the likes of Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni - though we're not sure which characters they'll be voicing just yet.

The adult animated action-comedy follows Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal "queenpin" of Gotham City. The comedy will also feature Poison Ivy and a cast of heroes and villains — old and new — from the DC universe.

@L0RDbuckethead - They are so good. The animation is great, the stories are great, the characters are really funny and likeable. Its something that anyone of any age can get behind and enjoy. Same with the Wallace and Gromit stuff.

26 years old here and I'll always be a fan of great animation. Nick Park is a talented artist. His characters are very enjoyable to watch.

Kaley Cuoco as Harley??? Wowsers--the second Big Bang Theory alum to voice the character. Big plus for having Lake Bell on as Poison Ivy, she was great in the movie "In A World...".

Um, so I guess Cuoco sucks at accents... not like Harley's speech pattern is iconic and instantly recognizable or anything.

BackwardGalaxy

@ArthurFleck - As long as the bubbly energy is there, the accent doesn't need to be there.

@ArthurFleck - No one will ever top Arleen Sorkin but I actually likedKaley Cuoco's take on the character. It wasnt like she was trying to make a bad impression like some of the other VA's, felt like she was bringing her own thing to the table while staying true to the character.
