After much anticipation, the animated Harley Quinn series officially premiered on the DC Universe streaming service yesterday. And while the first episode is still available to stream, DC has released a new promo for episode 2.

In the newly released teaser, we see that the titular clown is still very interested in earning a coveted position in the Legion of Doom. Unfortunately, with the Joker and other villains pushing back against her efforts that may be more difficult than she expected.

Nevertheless, Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) can still count on Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) for assistance, and since it looks like she will going up against fellow Batman villains like Scarecrow, she may very well need the help.

Check out the exciting new promo below:

Definitely not a fan of the voice acting, but the Tom Hardy-esque Bane always makes me smile.

Saw the first episode. If nothing else, it made me feel sorry for commissioner Gordon. Realistic portrayal of how a man in his position would be fairing at this point.

This show has an 89 on MetaCritic. Wild.

I watched five minutes of the first episode last night before I passed out. Can’t see myself loving this show but I’ll probably turn it on occasionally.

DC Universe is really having trouble justifying its existence. I tried watching this last night and wasn’t impressed.

@zachman2013 - Titian's is the 2nd most popular streaming show right now. DC Universe is justifying its existence.

@Jcool - I love Titans but DC needs more new content like it.

It's just nice seeing a lot of these characters interact in an animated series again, instead of just one or two animated movies a year. Hopefully with DC Universe, there'll be more on-going stuff. Cartoon Network has really screwed over DC fans, over the years. Particularly when it comes to mature content.

I enjoyed the first episode. It was over the top like I expected and in some ways even more so than I expected. I had to keep looking up voice talent as I watched it though. Love Alan TudyK's Joker and was surprised by Christopher Meloni as Commissioner Gordon!

I definitely won't be letting my 10 year old daughter watch this until maybe at the earliest Season 3 when she's 13, but we'll see. It's a shame because she really like Harley too!

Lotta f-bombs...so that could use some variety so that the f-bombs mean more.

I'm sorry I'm posting this comment on this article, but this really applies to all articles: The entertainment world is becoming completely uninteresting to me. I used to enjoy at least half the posted content on this site, but lately, rarely does anything I want to read appear. It's not this site's fault, it's just all the decent franchises sucking so bad they aren't worth paying attention to any more.

Off topic: I just stumbled across this wacky fan theory for Disney Star Wars Fan Fiction Episode 9.

Potential "spoilers"...

This sounds like the lamest thing ever, but with Abram's lazy storytelling and the direction they've taken this series, it might be just dumb enough to be true!

I loved the first episode! And that half hr cartoon did a far better job than the comics of showing her transition from sidekick to a person all her own.

Goddamn. First Doom Patrol and now this - when the DCU goes balls out crazy, it totally kicks ass and when it goes all grimdark and gritty, it completely shits the bed.

Coincidence?

The Tom Hardy style Bane is [frick]ing hilarious and Tudyk's Joker is solid gold.
