After fracturing the timeline at the end of last season, the Legends have been disbanded by the newly-established Time Bureau and are kicking back in Aruba when the season picks up, but based on this latest batch of photos, it looks like their vacation will be cut short when some ancient Romans arrive, looking to cause some serious trouble.

The Legends will then decide to take matters into their own hands, reassembling against the Time Bureau's wishes and setting out on an all-new adventure to correct the timeline before it's too late.

Check out new promotional stills from the season premiere, titled "Aruba-Con," below:

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Legends Of Tomorrow returns with an all-new episode October 10

@Ha1frican - Assuming you're ok with the level of cheese these shows have, you should really give season 2 a try. They cut the hawk people and made the show a lot more fun.

This show is somewhat fun and entertaining, but man is it badly written. The dumbest shit happens on this show.

I like this show. They should do more ensemble shows rather than individually focused CBTV shows so they dont labor past 2-3 seasons.

This could very well the most weird and best Season. I hope so, it holds quite the potential. I just hope they begin to show more classic period-ish DC heroes in their time travels. I always feel it is the only thing they need to do.

I love this show, it's a lot like the Flash to me. Yea there's a lot of dumb stuff, and if you start breaking things down, not much makes sense. But I think it's a lot of fun and I'm a huge time travel geek, plus Caity is super hot.
