CRISIS ON EARTH-X: A Doomsday-Level Threat Is Teased In This New Promo For The Upcoming DC TV Crossover Event

After a pair of teasers, the CW has finally released a full 30-second promo for the upcoming four-part "Crisis on Earth-X" event, offering an extended look at the Doomsday-level threat our heroes face.

In one week, the biggest DC TV crossover of all-time begins and following all of those great photos we saw yesterday, the CW has released a brand new promo for the four-part "Crisis On Earth-X" event, featuring our best look yet at the villains from this alternate reality going toe-to-toe with our favorite heroes from Earth-1 and Earth-38.

The 30-second preview doesn't offer much in the way of plot details, but we do get a voiceover from presumably The Ray (Russell Tovey), who alerts his new allies about Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Dark Flash being in the possession of a "Doomsday" weapon, which seemingly suggests that the crossover may, in fact, plan on introducing one of Superman's most destructive foes... although, it could also mean a variety of other things, so let's just stay tuned for more details as they come.

Watch the new promo below:

“Crisis on Earth X”

THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW,” “SUPERGIRL,” “THE FLASH” AND “DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” BEGINS — Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world. Larry Teng directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg & Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller (#308). Original airdate 11/27/2017.

@KingPatel

A trusted source I go to leaked out some JL Deleted Scenes. Remember the scene where Barry taps the glass? That's a scene where he saves Iris in a car accident. Full unedited/rendered scene is down below:

The scene you saw above will be leaked in the home release(meaning an EXTENDED CUT IS ON THE WAY). HOWEVER, they plan on swapping Clemons's face with an extra's, meaning she will most likely be recast.

Also, the original post credit scene had Bruce being woken up in his sleep by Tomar-Re and Kilowog.

@Invictor - Yeah. Don't see why they cut that out.

So, I saw JL.

It's pretty hit-or-miss, but overall I thought it was OK. I liked it more than BvS and SS but less than MOS and WW. If I had to give it a letter grade, I'd say it's hovering around that C+/B- territory.

I feel like i'm the only one really appreciating the ridiculousness of Legends of Tomorrow. No romantic or overly serious plots just full on time traveling nonsense in the most beautiful way.

So you're telling me a basic cable network made a well organized universe all from the Green Arrow. Yet the theatrical DCEU can't make a half decent universe from Superman and Batman?

The real problem with DC and warner bros is that they stop insisting that Nolan oversee everything like he did for MOS.. say what you will, but if BvS and JL both had the same crisp tone as MOS, the films would be considered spectacular, rather than good they would have been epic... I honestly believe Snyder would have pulled it off though had they not had caved into the "lighter tone" bullscrap and kept things new... but no, we have a million marvel fans who only want underwood wearing supertard who doesn't destroy a single thing ever.. so, now we have a spangled shoulder pad wearing supertard mumble mouth with airbrushed muscles on baby blue pantyhose... thanks Whedon for another turd in the punchbowl, you hack.. they should have a Buffy channel that he is chained to working in and can't leave

@neuromonitor - you have a problem with superman's underwood?

would you prefer it to be hidden? it does give me a bit of penis envy. but then I think, hey it's superman, maybe that's okay.

@neuromonitor - Nolan isn't the reason MoS was more coherent. Goyer is. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh did I mention that the worst part of justice league is literally everything that Whedon touched? Including the retro soundtrack? Yeah, let's rehash old movie themes for lousy films that people didn't like when they came out... the guy should never be allowed to direct another film ever again

@neuromonitor - I do find it funny that the blame for everything is gonna go to Whedon, probably even things he didn't touch.

@neuromonitor - People didn't like 89 Batman or the first Superman movie? That's...an interesting spin on things.
