New THE FLASH Images Put The Spotlight On Iris West As She Becomes The Fastest Woman Alive
Iris West has been granted the powers of the Scarlet Speedster and in these new photos from "Run, Iris, Run," we get to see the intrepid reporter suited up as a superhero. Hit the jump to check them out...
Iris West has become something of a divisive character in The Flash, mostly because she's gone from being a reporter to a key part of Team Flash (despite not having any scientific knowledge). Regardless of your thoughts on the character, though, she's a big part of Barry Allen's life and their relationship is about to take another interesting turn when a metahuman grants Iris the Scarlet Speedster's powers.
In the gallery below, you'll find a fresh batch of images from upcoming episode "Run, Iris, Run," including shots of the character in two different costumes as she struggles to master the abilities of the Fastest Man Alive. IRIS SUITS UP — Team Flash confront a new bus meta, Matthew AKA Melting Pot (guest star Leonardo Nam), who has the ability to swap people’s DNA. During a battle with Team Flash, Matthew accidentally takes Barry’s (Grant Gustin) speed away and gives it to Iris (Candice Patton). Now, with a new threat unleashed on Central City, Barry must act as the team leader while Iris takes on the mantle of superhero speedster in order to defeat their new foe. Harry Jierjian directed the episode written by Eric Wallace (#416). Original airdate 3/13/2018.
