ABC Slots In Joss Whedon's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. For Tuesday's

ABC has announced their fall line-up, and while we don't yet have a specific air date for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we do now know the day of week and time it will air on the network. Hit the jump for further details!

ABC have just announced their Fall TV schedule, and while they haven't revealed a specific air date as of yet, we do now know that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be aired on Tuesday's at 8pm. This is a good spot for the highly anticipated series - the pilot of which is directed by Joss Whedon - as it has been placed at the top of their new Tuesday night line-up of dramas and comedies. The official ABC website has also updated their page for the series with three new stills from the show and a bunch of cast portraits of the main characters which you can find by clicking HERE.

i dont doubt the show will be good, but it wont get viewers not enough nerds could warrant a second series

All of the other cast members besides Gregg and Richard are practically interchangeable! So odd.

Man o man this looks like one of the best TV shows to come around in decades. It's so cool that it relates to real people in the characters' age demographic. These are super highly skilled agents that look like they frequent nail salons beauty spas. I'm loving the "special agent douche" look from Grant Ward...can not wait to watch this!!!

I've seen Sky's picture before in the beauty section of my local drug store....exact same pose and everything....she got that outfit from wal-mart....great marketing for this show by not being too blatant with their product placing

They are pretty short...but hey never underestimate highly skilled spies and agents who's average height is around 5'4"....plus if they throw in any real heroes or one of the avengers...it'll make the real heroes seem that much larger than life

looks like a toned downed version of torchwood, whether that's a good or a bad thing we'll just have to wait and see, they better not go over the top with the references of the avengers otherwise people will expect to see them in show, epspecially if the main characters aren't that interesting

If a comic book series like The Walking Dead that was completely unknown to to general public can work it's way to being the highest rated show on television, I'm sure something like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is backed by Joss Whedon's reputation, the 3rd biggest film of all time, a successful 50-year old comic book universe and a billion dollar film universe can find a sizable audience that will insure it's survival.
