Agent Fitz returned at the end of last week's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., having suddenly found his way into the future and into Kasius's chamber as one of his "guests". While we still don't know how Fitz managed to catch up to his team, this week's episode, "Rewind", will take us back to Earth (and the present time) to see how this turn of events came to pass.

The clip sees Fitz in prison, having been detained for the LMD fiasco of last season. While the authorities press him for information on his team's whereabouts, Fitz is suddenly aided by the suprising appearance of his "attorney".

Check out the clip below and let us know what you think!

Obviously Fitz being being back in the show is something that we all want to see - but which Fitz is it going to be. The Mainframe is having long lasting effects on those that were trapped in it - May is just tired, Mac is grieving and Fitz, well Fitz has been left alone in jail, isolated from the team. The guilt of what he did in the framework is a very real part of him now, he is directly responsible for the real Aida's (forget her name) framework counterpart dying and the real world version of Mace.
The show is very good at showing consequences of actions and guilt so what state will Fitz be in? Looking forward to this episode so much, with Hunter back and assisting Fitz.

Meh...Hunter but not Bobby, f*ck this.

@Doomsday8888 - Lol, she's on another show, and presumably didn't have time to make an appearance. Hopefully they explain her absence without falling back on them breaking up...again.

@Doomsday8888 - Adrianne Palicki has just finished her run on The Orville (I think it was only a short season that was ordered) so that does leave the possibility of her appearing later in the season.
Adrianne Palicki has stated in interviews that she would love to cameo and return to A.O.S. so its up to the writers.

@hummingbird68 - the Orville is a great show! I was afraid it was going to be too jokey with Seth MacFarlane involved but it balances it well with the sci-if and heart.

So how does Earth look now? Or is the episode an entire flashback post S4's ending when they are taken by those agents and he stays behind?

@NinnesMBC - You are correct, the episode will flash back to Fitz being left behind on present Earth and will presumably lead up to him making his way into the future.

@MattBellissimo - I see then, well thanks then for the confirmation.

@MattBellissimo - That's not the future. That's an alternate verse.

They should have just stuck with making Marvel's Most Wanted and not even entertained of putting Inhumans on television.

@TheBlueMorpho - I wholeheartedly agree, Inhumans should always of been a movie, regardless of the Ike and Feige dispute, Feige should of kept the Inhumans as a movie.
I'm a big Inhumans fan, so although the cast was actually pretty good, the script, budget and showrunner were very bad.
I still have hope that with the Fantastic Four back at marvel, we may get a Inhumans reboot with slow introductions like in the comics. Crystal and lockjaw first.

@hummingbird68 - now the show has introduced the multiverse (or the concept anyway) if Marvel has any sense it'll use this new universe to retcon the Inhumans show out of continuity by saying their world was the one destroyed by alter-Daisy(and you're right, the cast was totally wasted on the show)

@hummingbird68 - I really hope Marvel learns from the mistakes they made with the Inhumans when they start work on X-Men!

@hummingbird68 -

I don't how they thought they could pull Inhumans off on a TV budget. If a F4 movie does come to the MCU that would be the perfect way to reboot the Inhumans. Perhaps in a sequel to let some time pass between the TV show. Cause I don't think season 2 is happening for Inhumans but you never know.

@TheBlueMorpho - They reason they cut medusa's hair was bugetary. Screw them. I like the way AOS handled Inhumans but not so much the series.
