Clark Gregg has already made history in the world of Marvel; the actor first surged to popularity when his MCU character - S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson - appeared in several Marvel films (from Iron Man to The Avengers), along with going on to star in all five seasons of the TV spin-off, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Now, the actor has a new milestone with his directorial debut on the show's fifth season episode "Fun and Games". You can check out photos for the episode below, along with a brief synopsis (courtesy of Spoiler TV). "Fun and Games" will air Friday, January 5th, 2018 on ABC.

You know a show's about to be canceled or in its last season when they start letting the stars/actors direct. It's almost always a case of, "Let's throw them a bone" before we leave move.

One episode behind overall, but damn, when they went with the gritty future scenario I did not expect that this show would soon also be scratching my Spartacus itch. I'd be upset that John Hannah isn't around for it, but seeing how his character had pretty much a perfect exit...
