Blair Underwood Set To Return For AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3
Another familiar face is set to return to the world of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. next season. Blair Underwood (The Event) is set to reprise his role as May's ex-husband, Dr. Andrew Garner - no doubt to help Coulson & Skye with The Secret Warriors!
Hot off the heels of the arrival of former Entourage star, Constance Zimmer, Variety have confirmed that Blair Underwood will return to Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Season 3. Underwood will reprise his role as 'Dr. Andrew Garner', Agent Melinda May's ex-husband. A former therapist for S.H.I.E.L.D., Andrew turned his back on the agency in the wake of Hydra's uprising. However, he recently consulted for Coulson's team after the emergence of Skye's abilities.
Underwood appeared in four episodes of the Marvel/ABC show last season. So far, there's no word on whether or not he'll be returning in a larger capacity, but it's a safe bet he'll play a key role in the Secret Warriors plotline set to dominate S.H.I.E.L.D.'s third season.
