Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television and will premiere on Tuesday, September 24th at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time on ABC Network.

I really hope this delivers! I'm not sure about its longevity on-air, but I'll be tuning in.

This show looks okay, but I'm worried about the ratings. After all, it's going up against NCIS.

@Asgardian Arrow will shit on Agents of Shield. I don't see this show making it past a season.

LOL. Arrow is a "hit" because it was on the CW - the station where mediocrity goes on to exist in perpetuity.

This already looks more ambitious and better produced.

Arrow's an ok show lol. Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D has the makings of a good show but Coulsons got to go.

Hero's for Hire would have been better.

Arrow - A show about a major DC comics superhero
Agents of SHIELD - A show about completely original characters not based at all on anything comic related designed to ignore all the fascinating comic elements, all while destroying the emotional connection of a prior comic book film.

You Marvel fanboys are something.

Arrow rules, this is shit.

I absolutely hope this is a new guy every week. In fact let's call this show "Marvel Comic's Presents...". But an underlying tie in with all those new guys leading to a Season Finale would be GREAT.

it's sad how marvel has to use the best movie they have as promotion for everything. look at the new avengers show trailer so sad.

@ thespiderkat

It's obvious that you lean more towards Marvel (theSPIDEYkat) but that dosen't mean you have to lash out and attack a beloved DC show you ignorant [foo foo].

looks good I am glad Coulson is back and that we are getting a show that will add depth to the movies. Also great to see that Marvel is still in the business of creating characters not just working there top heroes.

@Robin1994 actually the Hulk show in the 70s was successful
