I like the theory of this Coulson being a life model decoy while the real Coulson was killed off in the Avengers.

Or a show based on DAREDEVIL, and maybe even THE PUNISHER.

NCIS provides major competition. They're coming off their 10th season and had some really strong ratings.

Heroes for hire would have been a good tv show to do, you include the likes of Punisher, Daredevil, jessica jones and a bunch of other street character that we'll most likely never see in the films along with Cage and The Fist of course. Trying to look foward to this show(Agents of Shield) but it just looks meh, nevertheless I'll still give it a try.

Sweet. I don't watch anything on Tuesdays so this is perfect for me.

As for the coulson conundrum... I think I read on here that he doesn't even know that the avengers thought he was dead. And all his team have no idea about the ruse that nick fury and Maria hill pulled to give the avengers "something to avenge".

I don't really like that explanation but it will definitely make for some interesting plot points if/when the avengers find out they were lied to.

ElDarkside: if you watch the trailer, the one agent says something like, "I'm clearance level 6 and I know that Agent Coulson died during the attack on New York." Coulson then walks in and says, "Welcome to level 7."
Coulson is well aware that many people think he is dead which is why only those with clearance level 7 know the truth.

Whedon better have an explanation for bringing Coulson back. His death served a purpose. Bringing him back... not so much
