Pretty Good Episode. And guys I think it's pretty Obv that the monolith responds to Inhuman (or potential Inhumans). It started reacting all of a sudden when ever Daisy was near it

@AplhaMasterFlex- Well they are going up against the ATCU which is something different. And I'm personally loving this whole thing going on with Ward and Hydra right now

@DrDoom- I totally felt the same man. The investment in these characters is too real.

I hope Ward doesn't die. Lock him up or do whatever but please don't kill him! He's become such an awesome character. And Simmons is probably an Inhuman...a self hating one I bet. Also, adding Werner Von Strucker into Ward's Hydra team is brilliant because the kid is loaded so if Ward and his crew shows up with high tech stuff there's no plot hole as to how they got it.

Will Simmons talk about what she encountered....holding that stick up, she was running from something...Kree Accusers maybe or sone variation of them? Or Inhuman prisoners

Holy shit that was too close... my heart damn near jumped out of my chest during that Simmons rescue scene... the portal was destroyed, and when just Fitz popped his head out my heart sank... and then *POP* she was there and I [frick]ing CHEERED!!! :D

Welcome back FitzSimmons :)

Everytime Fitz is on screen is a great scene.
I'm glad they brought Simmons back this early, that way they can go full on with the Inhumans and whatever was in the other planet.

Werner Von Strucker seems to be having the same history as in the comics, I hope it doesn't end the same (with Wolfgang alive), if they had use him more than what he did in AoU then Baron Zemo would be the fourth HYDRA big bad guy in the movies. Maybe in the comics you can have the same villian for decades but it doesn't work like that in movies.

@XelCorp I agree with you. I thought I read somewhere that the Kree sentries that were sent to dispatch and take out Inhumans used the Monolith to either transport them to their potential doom. It swallow up Simmons so it would lead me to believe that she is or will becoming Inhuman too but it was def. trying to get Daisy when she entered the room when they all went after Fitz. I also like the incarnation of Strucker's son, it was such a bummer that Ultron killed him, offscreen no less and for what? Strucker is such a great villain even if his "history" with Cap won't be established in this MCU. I hope they do not do the same for Baron Zemo either. It would be cool if maybe during a flashback at some point during WWII Cap on his journeys with the Allies came across Zemo's father Heinrich.

Really good episode. I'm really hoping Hydra is done with after CW.

I hope too. As I said above, having HYDRA being the big bad guy more than 3 times in the movies can be boring for audiences (it would be for me). That's why I liked that Von Strucker wasn't such a big character. I can understand if they want HYDRA to be the bad guys in CA trilogy but having them in a big part of Avengers as well would be too much HYDRA for me.

Another great episode !

Lain De Caesteker has always been a very talented actor.

I especially love those two scenes in season 2 where he conveys different emotions perfectly.

To me, the young foreign actors are really talented (Ruth, Lain, Elizabeth and even Luke) while Chloe's acting is clearly growing. Sometimes it's a miss but more and more you see scenes like these above where her acting is stellar.

I honestly didn't expect Simmons to be rescued this episode... Loved the old tech they had in that castle. Fun set design. Loved the Ward stuff also. Looking forward to seeing where they're going with the young Strucker.

Kudos to AoS for being the #1 show in its time period in the 18-49 demo last week:

Great episode. Fitz is my new favorite character. He has had an emotional ride through this series. He has changed the most since the beginning of this series. I'm very excited to see where they take the character.

I kinda wanted them to be able to go back and forth for few episodes. That could have made for a good story.

I half thought the stinger would be Simmons' eyes going black or something, like she brought something back with her. Otherwise, why have a two-episode arc, and a season cliff-hanger, where she gets sucked into a portal and transported to an alien world?

There has to be something else going on with her now, hopefully besides just PTSD.

"terrible acting. terrible dialogue. terrible characters. terrible story. just terrible"

Sounds just like the Not So Amazing Spider-Man franchise in a nutshell.

Awesome episode today. Glad they got Simmons back.

Great episode tonight, I'm loving the way this season is going. I also really liked the return of the resident Asguardian, especially his reaction to Daisy.

Also, I'm just gonna go ahead and call it, Rosalind's real name will turn out to be Abigail Brand, ATCU will become SWORD. Things just sorta seems to be heading in that direction.

Man, I was really worried Fitz might not rescue Simmons during that scene. That was intense. And the music during that whole scene was amazing! I can't be the only one who was impressed by the music.

In the show's cold opening, did anybody else see the cult and instantly think Hellfire Club?

Yeah I agree, if I had to guess, I'd say that CW and this current season of AOS will be the last we hear about Hydra. But I wouldn't count out Agent Carter exploring Hydra's past.

I was definitely on the edge of my seat during Simmons' rescue. And my heart stirred when she lay her head in Fitz's lap. That was really, really sweet.

Just a phenomenal episode. This is the best comic book television show, period. Solid.

And my buddy is still on the production team!!!

@ScionStorm

the music stuck out to me too.

I'm surprised Simmons is back so soon, though I have no doubt there's much more story to what happened to her over the months she was gone. And I still think she might have been transformed into something, maybe anti-Inhuman.
