The latest Marvel series, Cloak & Dagger, will finally premiere next month on Freeform, and while that’s still a ways off, the show’s marketing continues to reveal new exciting bits from the upcoming superhero show.

The promos do contain footage we’ve seen in previous trailers and TV spots, but they also feature several new scenes focused on the series’ heroic duo.

Among the new snippets of footage in the “Poison” and “Justice” promos, are moments that see the “Divine Pair” discuss the people they’ve lost. We also see young heroes Tyrone and Tandy decide to take justice into their own hands and face the corrupt Roxxon Corporation

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart, but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.

Marvel and Freeform's Cloak & Dagger premieres June 7.

Cloak and Dagger are mutants.

Isn´t Fox still the owner of the rights?

If it's as great as Runaways, it'll be worth a watch. I wish there was more Cloak in the ads.

@ODanil - At least it's finally coming out. I'm still wondering what networkt New Warriors is supposed to air on. I've given up on Damage Control.

The black guy who plays Cloak... Ouch. Obviously I'll wait to see what the show brings, but he seems like he can't act at all. Olivia Holt is fine tho.

@TheRealTomServo - Why won't you be watching this?

@Brifo - it really doesn’t go much deeper than me not being a fan of freeform as a channel on the whole.

@TheRealTomServo - So even when it's released on streaming after airing on the channel, you still won't be watching it?

@ScionStorm - nah, probably not. their shows tend to share similar issues and this one doesn't look much different.

Couldn't they put this on Hulu at least... although I wasn't a big fan of Runaways so who cares I guess.

This looks really bad, Marvel is doing a bit to much. I like most of the movies, NetFlix shows has been good and AOS has been ok. Just stick with that and I'm good.

A lot of this was filmed on the beach outside my office. I'm eager to see how those scenes look.
