The concept of a post-credits stinger is familiar to fans of Marvel films, but aside from a few exceptions, it's not a common occurence in their TV shows. However, according to showrunner Joe Pokaski, Cloak & Dagger may be taking after the big screen properties.

During a chat with Collider, Pokaski was asked if he already mapped out the story for Season 2, and even though he remained rather coy about his plans, he made it clear fans will be treated to something special after the credits roll.

"Yes and no. I think there will be places where we’re leaving some stuff open, intentionally, but there’s also something tremendously definitive, in our post-credits sequence, that will help define some of the drive."

There are four episodes left until the first season of Marvel and Freeform’s Cloak & Dagger  c omes to an end, and it's still unknown if the series will receive a second season. But if it does get renewed, viewers will get a tease of what's to come in the upcoming finale.

The Marvel drama airs Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Freeform.

I guarantee that it's O'Reilly coming back to life as Mayhem, which is what happens in the comics.

Add me to the positive response, please. I had never heard of Freeform until I saw a trailer for the show. Have been semi-binging on TiVo and I think it's extremely well done.

@MidMoElMarko - Freeform has only been around since 2016. It used to called ABC Family from 2001-2016 and then FOX Family before that from 1998–2001.

They changed the name in order to target an older (but still young) demographic.

All of the Marvel show are suffering form the same thing. The pace is not their strongest suit. I am still watching LC S2 and all I can say is that some episodes have been really slow.
