CLOAK & DAGGER: Tyrone Searches For Tandy In The New Promo For Season 2, Episode 7: "Vikingtown Sound"
After a mind-bending new episode of Cloak & Dagger, the promo for next week's installment sees Tyrone Johnson embark on a mission to find and save his best friend, Tandy Bowen. Check it out after the jump.
Last week's episode of Cloak & Dagger ended on a shocking note, with Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) left captured and betrayed. However, it turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg, as tonight's installment featured its fair share of surprising reveals.
For starters, it was revealed that Andre Deschaine (Brooklyn McLinn) was the true mastermind behind Tandy's capture and the human trafficking ring. Yet that wasn't the only new detail shared, as we also learned that the baddie received abilities of his own on the same night the divine pairing earned theirs, abilities that let him feed off the hopes of his victims.
While these revelations may be par for the course on most superhero shows, they make Deschaine the first superpowered villain on Cloak & Dagger. Furthermore, the fact that the show made a point of letting us know that his powers leave people in a state of despair, may hint at a connection to the Marvel Comics villain D'Spayre.
Either way, the promo for next week's episode, which you can check out below, makes it clear Tyrone (Aubrey Joseph) will do everything he can to get his best friend out of Deschaine's clutches.
