Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba are the creators of The Umbrella Academy comic, which was adapted into a mega-hit by Netflix. It has been praised since its release and is the most in-demand comic book television show at the time, giving Netflix the room it needs to move away from their original Defenders deal with Marvel.

The comics, meanwhile, are still happening. On June 7th, The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion #7 is due to be released, and now we have an idea of what is to come beyond that. It appears that there is going to be a complete Christmas Special One-Shot coming around the Holiday season from the creators and Dark Horse Comics. Exactly what the plot of this issue is remains to be seens, but its sure to be a fun adventure for the Hargreeves family.
