First announced in 2011,  rapper/actor/producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's Tomorrow, Today looks to finally be moving forward..  Entering its third season, Power, which is produced by Jackson, moved to Sunday night and gave Starz its biggest hit to date, drawing 2.24 million viewers.  In light of that success, Starz has signed Jackson to an exclusive deal through 2018 and will move forward with the G-Unit rapper on Tomorrow, Today, which THR describes as ---

"A drama that will follow a Veteran from the south side of Chicago who, after being falsely imprisoned, becomes the personal experiment of a mad prison doctor trying to create the perfect man — and an unstoppable killing machine. Set free, but on the run, the veteran must reconcile with the world that has turned against him, and use his newfound abilities for good."

That description actually sound very similar to Luke Cage, so expect further details to be revealed soon to avoid any confusion with the upcoming Netflix drama.

Out of all the premium cable networks such as HBO, Showtime, TMC and Cinemax, it appears that Starz will be the first to leap into the superhero game.  It will be interesting to see whether the other networks follow suit.

Also, Power is dope. If you've been looking to fill that Wire-shaped hole in your TV viewing schedule, Power is what you should be watching.

@MarkJulian -

I need to check it out, especially as it stars the awesome Omari Hardwick, who is also my pick for John Stewart.
