It has been 23 years since we last saw the character, Ash, battle the undead hoards of the Army of Darkness, but that is precisely what we will be getting this autumn with the Starz television series,
Ash vs Evil Dead. As we come closer and closer to the series' premiere, new promotional materials are inevitable. Because of this, Starz have released a brand new trailer to the upcoming series, that focuses on a much older Ash as he teams up with a new cast of characters in order to continue his war with the evil dead. Before you view the trailer, you must be warned: things get a bit bloody.

ASH VS EVIL DEAD will be 10 half-hour episodes. Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.
ASH VS EVIL DEAD will premiere Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.
