Ash vs. Evil Dead is a horror comedy television series created by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell for the Starz network. It is set in the Evil Dead franchise and serves as a sequel to 1992 movie Army of Darkness.

Ash has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash becomes mankind's only hope.




Starring: Bruce Campbell, Jill Marie Jones, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo and Lucy Lawless.

Ash vs. Evil Dead "Bait" airs next week at 10/9c on Starz.


Evil Dead and Army of Darkness has been published by Dynamite Entertainment in comic book form and Dark Horse Comics.

Watched the 1st episode today and was impressed. Good to see they kept the spirit of Army of Darkness. It funny, cheesy, and a little campy which is just like Army of Darkness. It's a win.

Just saw it; definitely showing this to pop. He's been waiting for this one far too long. Trailers were already promising but man it was even better than I hoped.

Is Raimi directing the whole season?

The first episode was cool, so much classic Raimi stuff, it reminded my of his Spider-Man movies too, especially during some of the action scenes

I spent yesterday watching all 3 Evil Dead movies for the first time. It was [frick]ing great, and so was this show.

The pilot episode was great. It had the perfect blend of horror and comedy just like the movies. Bruce Campbell is a god among men.

Liked it. Though I still wish they continued with the rebooted film or combined the two somehow. The reboot in my opinion was fantastic, It was probably why they were able to do this.
