In Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, players will have to assemble the ultimate team to take down Thanos and the Black Order; an unlikely alliance of mutant heroes and villains is the only hope in prevening complete galactic devastation at the hands of the Mad Titan and his ruthless warmasters,

In a newly released trailer for Nintendo's upcoming Switch-exclusive game, we are treated to some action-packed gameplay featuring fan-favorite mutants. The trailer highlights some notable X-Men villains — Magneto, Mystique, and Juggernaut — as they join forces with fellow mutants Psylocke, Scarlet Witch, Nightcrawler, Deadpool, and others.

Assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more! Team up with friends to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of the mad cosmic tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order. In this new storyline, heroes and villains unite in a race across the Marvel Universe to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and The Black Order use them to unleash cosmic chaos. From Avengers Tower to the X-Mansion and beyond, every stop on the dangerous quest to thwart Thanos results in unexpected collisions of fan-favorite characters and iconic locations.

The trailer offers just a taste of the cast of Super Heroes and Villains in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, which features over two dozen playable characters spanning the Marvel Universe. In addition to the X-Men, you'll be able to play as characters from The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Verse

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 19, 2019. On a related note, Square Enix could be readying to reveal their own Marvel game, The Avengers Project, next month at E3.

I bought a switch solely for this game. I hope it lives up to the PS2's greatness...

I'm glad to see they're back in some capacity. When was the last time they played an important part in a console game that wasn't a LEGO title? It's been a minute.

@comicfan100 - *begins to mention "Disney Infinity" but stops himself short when the thought of that game brings him to tears. Nobody should ever remember "Disney Infinity"*

I want to be excited for this game, but most in-game footage they’ve shown seems to be along the lines of “you’re in a circle room. There’s waves of enemies. Now a boss. Ooo~”. Kinda making me worried it’ll be nothing like the originals (also, high key hate Psylocke’s hair in this)

Disney deprived fans of the Xmen in any media they controlled for years. I guess the ban has been lifted.

When this was announced as a Switch exclusive I was heartbroken. I loved the first 2, and currently my finances are otherwise dedicated to adulting costs for the foreseeable future, so I wont be buying a Switch or this. But the more I see of this game the less I care. I hate how bright and cartoony everything looks. Ultimate Alliance was always dark and mature, had this tone of gritty Ultimate universe goodness. This game just looks like they copied the Marvel vs Capcom look, but with terrible dated graphics.
