With Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releasing next month, Nintendo has spent a good portion of E3 highlighting the upcoming Switch-exclusive aciton-RPG. In addition to appearing in Nintendo's E3 livestream, which confirmed the Fantastic Four as part of the game's Expansion Pass, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has been featured on Nintendo Treehouse.

Spread across two videos, we've got nearly an hour's worth of gameplay footage from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 featuring commentary from one of the game's writers along with members of Marvel Games. The video walkthroughs touch on everything from the game's robust roster to the story to the combat mechanics and RPG elements.

The first video takes us to the Xavier Institute from X-Men and is focused more on the local multiplayer gameplay and combat, as well as the many available characters in the game. The second video goes more in depth about the game's RPG elements, including character stats and abilities, synergistic team comps, and more.

The MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE series returns for the first time in 10 years—with a new action RPG—exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ system! Assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more! Team up with friends to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of the mad cosmic tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releases next month on July 19 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

This is a disappointment
Hopefully the live service model for Square Enix game is well implemented because sometimes they get it right

I'm excited for both games. I like the comic book cartoon feel of UA3 and I think the Avengers game is going to shape up to be an incredible experience. There's a year for Square Enix and the gang to polish this bad boy and I think with all the feedback from the reveal they'll come correct.

this game looks like a lot of fun. yeah, it's clearly not pushing the hardware in terms of graphics, but at least the art direction is colorful and the designs are appealing. the cutscenes are well directed also, which is a weird thing to notice. that little bit with Deadpool and the tacos was fun.
no "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" line thou.

Love these costume adaptations. Especially the daredevil one.

That X-Men intro was as cheesy as a Wisconsin casserole. Add that up with PS2 graphics, a front yard full of Sentinels that NO ONE was worried about, and fighting mechanics that haven't developed since the skating rink arcade, and you get this polished turd. Damn that MARVEL logo. I think I'm fully in love with it, because I KNOW I am still going to buy this game at launch....

This game looks like seizure fuel. The first ultimate alliance is unbeatable. Second one sucked...this looks worse.

Why would anyone want to sit there and watch an hour or someone else playing a game?
