Colin Farrell Warcraft movie

Speaking to IGN, Farrell shared that , “I read the script, if that’s any use to you, and it’s amazing.” He continued, “ I sat with Duncan for awhile and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be. I don’t know what’s happening with the film. I don’t know where they are in the process.” Farrell went on to say that he’s not a World of Warcraft player or even familiar with the video game property, he’s simply a fans of Jones’ work. ”The script was just really, really cool, and it’s just a world that I never explored — and it’s a really big and fantastical world. I can’t imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can’t imagine what he’d do with this Warcraft.”

Farrell declined to say what role he was up for but it's thought that he will play Medivh in the film.

Hopefully this movie doesn't suck as there is definitely some good potential there lore/story wise, but chances are Blizzard will some how [frick] it up at least as bad as Diablo 3.

After watching the Blizzcon panel with Jones and the Blizzard guys my faith in this project was restored. It will be the a decent movie.

He's good in small, quirky films. In big budget action movies like this he usually tanks. Wish they could've gotten Depp instead.

movie takes place decades before Thrall's ascension. He may or may not even be born yet

I liked In Bruges a whole lot and he wasn't bad in total recall. He's a bit skeevy but for the most part I don't have a problem with him. I've never played warcraft or wow nor do I expect anyone who has a real life to but I will say I'd have much rather seen a starcraft movie like ten times more

@ckal - I never said Blizzard is making the movie, I said they would somehow [frick] it up, which is exactly what they've done with most of their properties lately. Don't be so hostile if you're also going to put words in my mouth. Tool.

As long as they call it Warcraft.
Blizzard has ridden "World of " Warcraft far too long. I want them to remember where they came from, the original Warcraft Trilogy.
