Leaked Footage From Duncan Jones' WARCRAFT Movie Surfaces

Following yesterday's big Captain America: Civil War trailer leak, the first footage for Duncan Jones' upcoming Warcraft movie has surfaced, and it looks pretty damn epic.

Based on the hit online video game World of Warcraft, Warcraft has been shrouded in secrecy for a long time, but the leaked footage below gives us our first look at the movie. It's very CGI heavy, but looks pretty cool nonetheless. What it below before it's gone! Fighting for The Alliance, Warcraft features Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn, Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Ben Foster as Medivh, Ben Schnetzer as Khadgar, and Ruth Negga as Lady Taria, and on the side of The Horde is also Clancy Brown as Blackhand, Toby Kebbel as Durotan, and Daniel Wu as Gul’Dan, with Paula Patton’s Garona apparently caught in the middle. Warcraft is set to be released on June 10th, 2016.

I thought the orcs looked pretty cartoony when I first saw them, and…they still do, but in motion they at least look like a cartoon that could actually exist. Looks to be shaping' up pretty nice all in all.

I like Duncan Jones and love stuff like Lord of the Rings but am just not sold on this so far - definitely hated what we saw from Comic-Con! Maybe I'll change my mind as the release gets closer - guess I'll have to wait and see.
