Following the success of The Fault In Our Stars, Josh Boone has been courted for any number of projects, including the long delayed adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand. While that's still in his future, it was revealed earlier this year that Boone will direct and co-write (alongside Knate Gwaltney) New Mutants at Fox. Simon Kinberg will produce, and had this to say at the time: "We’re so excited to explore this new part of the X-Men universe, and so excited to do it with Josh, who is uniquely suited to tell this story about young characters." Well, the first draft of the screenplay is now finished, so we're one step closer to hearing when this team of heroes will arrive on the big screen. Are you looking forward to New Mutants?
