According to the IMDB description for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it appears that the early spoiler review is true about Deadpool. See what it says...

The Biography for the character Weapon XI explains that Deadpool is Weapon XI by the end of the movie, and that the actor Scot Adkins takes over for Reynolds when he turns to Weapon XI. It does say right in the heading that this is not verified by IMDB, so there is some hope this isn't true, but it looks fairly convincing.

In the comics there is no actual character known as Weapon XI (Weapon X for those who don't know is Wolverine). As for this character, apparently the makers of the movie took creative licenses with Deadpool/Wade Wilson's character where seems that Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds) is the merc with a mouth but he's presented with no actual scars or the Deadpool replica costume known in the comics. During the movie Wade Wilson will undergo some changes in a procedure by William Stryker turning him to a silent killing machine implanting blades in his forearms and that's when you witness his form being scared and disfigured being the character Weapon XI (played by Scott Adkins). It was revealed in a thread form Scott Adkins' fansite that he will have the last fight against Wolverine in the movie and that's what we caught a glimpse off in the official trailer where we witness Weapon XI doing a flying spinning kick in the face of Wolverine with blades appearing out from his forearms.

What's with the Baraka nod?

I think they are making a big mistake here. The Merc with a mouth who loses his mouth? Are the powers that be trying to screw us over?

As a whole the movie looks to be good, and Reynolds as Deadpool is casting made in heaven, but they shouldn't do a 180 and shoot themselves in the foot in the last act.

that will be the dumbest thing i have ever seen in a comic movie and i have seen them do some pretty dumb crap as we all have but turning DP into something he's not is just retarded i think i have lost all faith in the movies FOX makes based on current licenses. FOX needs to give the X-Men and all characters associated with back to Marvel and let the redeem the franchise.

Logan-x...they haven't changed anything drastic with Wolverine. You're probably upset cuz he's not in his bright yellow spandex...he looks fine in his attire. I don't think some crappy movie is worth praying to god. I think Logan-X hit it on the head. A lot of things have been changed. How would they know what should and should not be altered.

I was hoping that they never would associate Deadpool with those X-Men from the FOX movies...Marvel should of just made Deadpool his own Movies under Universal...and made it Rated R so it would be true to the comics and to the real fans instead of trying to make a movie for kids... I waited this long for Deadpool to show up but not in this X-Men franchize FOX sucks..... Marvel please reboot -Uncanny X-Men-

Why can't Stan Lee just guide these idiots that makes these movies down the right path tell the story the way it's suppose to be told make the characters look the way they are suppose to look what's the deal with all the inaccuracies in these movies Marvel should bring out all of there own movies true to the comic book...

The guy who wrote the original 'review' (if you can call it that) probalby wrote to try and convince all of us he's not lying,

Mind you i read an interview with Hugh Jackman saying something reall intere4sting or cool happens do deadpool and one with Liev Schreiber saying they,ve been told to keep quiet about deadpool. Who knows what to think any more.

it's not true, trust me. why would they have scott adkins play weapon XI if it's deadpool's character. i know someone mentioned that he was reynolds stunt double but why would he step in and do all of the scenes for weapon XI. Reynolds does a fair amount of his own stunts and would still be needed for the close up shots which if you look at the latest trailer looks nothing like reynolds, for one thing weapon XI is too small.

Listen guys it's purely speculation, Jackman loves wolverine and im sure he loves the things that make up his world, including Deadpool, so i dont see him making this kind of mistake. Even if the toys are credible, i have a theory.

In all the trailers and Tv spots we've seen of this movie, have we seen anyone call reynolds deadpool, NO, granted no ones called him wade either. But, what if they dont call him deadpool, and what if the person who cuts of the head of weapon XI is wade (reported in the "Review" as wolverine who cuts his head off) and through this decides to call himself deadpool (he comes out with some witty line like "what, i liked the name" as he cuts his head off and looks at wolverine). I'm just saying that until i see it in the movie or i hear it from jackman or reynolds himself, i'm not buying this rumor. As its already been stated, on imdb it's says that its unverified, which means it's bollocks.

As time goes on this story is looking more and more likely and at the same time my world is slowly falling through my arse.

I hope to god this is not true! If it is then they best shoot some extra scenes where they find Deadpool hog-tied in a cell and Weapon XI was a clone or something. It'll still be crap but as it is they have taken what should be one of the best movies ever with two of marvels best heroes and totally ass raped it!

IF (and I'm saying 'IF') this is true, Fox (and as far as I'm concered Marvel too for allowing the BS to happen) has shot itself in the foot, head, heart and the 'short and curlies'!!! IF this does turn out to be true, I'm swearing off ANY comic book movies made by Fox (anayone care to join me in the crusade?)!
