Cool not bad, some unique choices

Joe as Avalanche is kind of a waste of his physical presence. I would prefer him to play Sabretooth or even Juggernaut.

Other than that I dig the rest.

I REALLY wanted Richard Madden as Cyclops & Rose Leslie as Jean Grey.

I thought they both fit the characters very well, they both look the part and they are roughly the same ages as the current X-Men team. Madden's Scott would be old enough to be the leader of the X-Men, as Cyclops should be!!

Yeah, it still bothers me the first X-Men, a founding member and leader of the X-Men wasn't in First Class and is just now rejoining the team! Except, he's about 10 years younger than the rest of the X-Men team??

hahaha

@imkennypowers Cyclops has been so disrespected, including in the Wolverine and X-Men cartoon.

I hope we get some explanation of the connection between Alex and Scott, father/son?, cousins?, still brothers? Havok is supposed to be in Apocalypse.

It'd be nice, but I've given up hoping the FoX-Men will explain anything to help alleviate confusion for viewers. I think they're just as confused as their fans! hahaha

How/why did Bolivar Trask go from being a older black man to Peter Dinklage?!???

Love the cast. Especially Irons as Magneto.

Not huge fan of our Xavier or Angel choices. They seem to be based on looks only, but I could be wrong.

Fair enough.

I really like this cast!

Alice Englert is a fine choice for Jean.
I'm definitely not sold on Darren Criss, he's an awful actor.

Hell yes to Ted Danson as Senator Kelly!

@imkennypowers lol, that's the first thing I thought when the imp was cast.

The X3 Trask is the love child of imp Trask and his secretary, lol.

hahaha. But who are we kidding, FoX-Men clearly isn't concerned with recasting, much less their timeline inconsistencies, so they're damn sure not going to bother explaining, well attempt to explain/justify, any of it.

We're just expected/supposed to accept it and go along with it. Why should we care that they establish the rules for their universe and the characters & events within it, only for them change their rules, characters and/or events, as they see fit?? Who wants to work smarter & harder, when it's soooo much easier to make things up as they go, rather than adhering to the rules they chose to establish for their universe in the first place?? Nothing really matters in the FoX-Men universe when you change it for "reasons"!! hahahahaha.

@SebsCso54

Sorry, I've been talking about everything, but your fan cast. haha.

This is one of the most realistic fan casts I've seen! I like that you didn't cast all A-list, popular and/or fan favorites.

Loved Terry O'Quinn on LOST, he's a solid and a great choice for Xavier.

I agree that Joe Manganeillo deserves a bigger & better role/character. With his physique & presence, he could easily be a better fit for multiple characters, good or evil or both. haha.

Jeremy Irons as Magneto is great! Probably my favorite casting choice.

Love Ted Danson & the role cast. I was one of the dozens of people who liked & watched Bored to Death. And he's been great in his small role on season two of Fargo.

And your cast would be pretty great for an idea I've mentioned on here many a time:

A live-action X-Men TV series on Fox!!!! (or FX or FXX)

More specifically, I suggested Fox hire Joss Whedon as showrunner, writer & occasional director for an "Astonishing X-Men" live-action series.
(Also, I suggested Whedon could reunite with David Boreanaz & cast him as Cyclops.)

Since you didn't mention it, I assume you didn't realize, intend or consider your fan cast could be better suited for an X-Men TV series instead of X-Men movie??

The X-Men have such a deep roster of characters, it's extremely challenging & difficult to give as many characters as possible fair screen time and story focus/involvement within a 2hr movie. That's why I've mentioned the X-Men might be better suited for a TV series! There's more time to share screen time & storylines for more characters.

If the X-Men series only has 10 episodes a season, that's 10 hours, but more importantly, it's approx. the same amount of time as all the X-Men films COMBINE!!! (Excluding, the Wolverine solo movies.)

I suggest 10 episodes a season like the HBO model & for the same reasons.
1 - The production costs for cast, crew & CGI/sFX will be high, but despite being 10 episodes it should have the same budget, if not a little higher, as other series.
2 - Filming 10 epis a season requires significantly less time commitment than 20+ epis. This can help the series entice/appeal to better, bigger name actors, showrunners, directors, writers & crew.

Of course, if they were to make this series with your cast, Joe Mag. would definitely need to be recast as a main character to keep him attached. I think the rest of the cast could work & would be on board. Irons would be the only one I'd be concerned about, but maybe top billing & good money could convince him. hahaha.

Anyway, I've rambled enough. hahaha. And yes, I know about the X-Men TV series rumor being discussed/considered or in the works, but I suggested this for a while, long before the rumors, and this was a pretty fit for that idea. Plus, I like talking about it because it seems it might actually happen!! hahahaha

I grew up with the X-Men franchise to be honest and I want the best for them comic-wise. As far as films Singer is doing a good job I just hope the director after him is allowed to do what they want since Fox is being stupid and controlling. I'm enjoying the X-Men universe despite all it's flaws.

@SebsCso54-Pretty unique choices. I'm always for unique. Plus you have some good choices like Alice Englert and Darren Criss. But honestly I would get rid of the Big Show, he's too old slow, and isn't captivating outside of his size. But overall good job.
