The world needs the X-Men and in three days time, they're back!

After a gargantuan $101.5 million debut internationally, Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse is all set to arrive stateside this Thursday and is widely expected to win the Memorial Day weekend despite some competition from Disney's fantasy sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass. Following its domestic release, the film will still have two major release dates on its schedule, China (June 3) & Japan (August 11), where its predecessor - X-Men: Days of Future Past - did major business back in 2014. The film has benefitted from pretty good word-of-mouth thusfar, so it certainly has a shot at meeting and/or exceeding DOFP's final worldwide gross of $747.8 million. Check out the latest TV spot below:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

I got about ten minutes into this movie and had to turn it off. I'm dying for a good Xmen film but I'm afraid Fox will never be able to deliver
