Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.


X-Men: Apocalypse is once again directed by Bryan Singer, and is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.

@MattBellissimo - Which is also the reason why I don't understand them not doing it. But I also never expect anything accurate translated from Xmen comics. Just sucks my 3rd favorite Xman Arch Angel is most likely going to be a background character like Pyro.

Also, I've finally realized. The new "costumes" are literally upgraded versions of Wolverine's DOFP armour.

@MattBellissimo - But at this point, after how great DOFP and Singer's other X-Men movies were (just my opinion obviously) I don't think it'll be a surprise. I don't care about costumes and how characters look, I just want a good movie, and that's what he's always delivered.

Biggest lie on this site. Let the next picture for Infinity War show a bald Captain America with a mustache, wearing a suit and tie for the WHOLE MOVIE and carrying a briefcase instead of shield and let's see what you say, then.
