In the following video interview, X-Men: Apocalypse producer and writer Simon Kinberg is quizzed about Archangel being one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen, and while he refuses to give too much away in regards to which characters they'll be using, he does explain the new timeline. As it turns out, X-Men: Days of Future Past changed things so much that some characters may have been born earlier, meaning we shouldn't put too much stock in anything which happened in the original trilogy as it's all up for grabs now! In the second interview, Channing Tatum talks about the lengths he's gone to to play Gambit in an X-Men movie, claiming to have even auditioned in costume. He then shows off his impressive card throwing skills, much to the pain of the reporter interviewing him...

I hated the idea as Tatum as gambit but the more i see of him talking about it the more i like it, he seems really into it.

I keep trying to unremember everything before DoFP and... it's hard. Maybe if they used some different actors for some of the characters it would be easier.

Well Archangel would be a completely badass and cool character to have, so they definitely won't be using him. The Four Horsemen they finally decide on will be Blob, Cypher, Choir, and then some character they completely make up who has the power to make burritos really fast. That's the formula they have consistently used to make these films.

Yes, because when I think Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, I think "man, they need better actors in this franchise".....dumbasses....the acting was never the problem...

Also, I love that the timeline shift allows them to tweek things, so if that makes angel be able to appear earlier I'm fine with it, and I wouldn't mind them bringing back Ben Foster!
