So DOFP has been in theaters and has gotten rave reviews from fans. The post-credits scene (
SPOILER) shows the fans a glimpse of Apocalypse and the Four Horsemen. This is a logical step to take in the X-Men franchise. However, that film isn't set to be out for two years. Connsidering X-Men isn't thought of on the same scale as The Avengers, even thjough they're fixing that, a lot of people feel like two years is a long time to wati for the next X-Men movie. So my question to you is, out of all the films Fox had in development that deal with the current X-Men universe which one would you like you see? Is there a film with a character you think they should make before Apocalypse comes out to whet our appetites? What mutantsa could hold a solo film? What concept deserves a movie? What would you most like to see on the silver screen from the X-Men universe?
Personally there was talks about a solo Mystique film with Jennifer Lawrence. I was against it completely before I saw DOFP and Jennifer Lawrence really blew me away in her role as the anti-hero. Now I would gladly give up my ticket money to see that film. Also, similar to Deadpool, the X-Force film hasn't come together at all for as long as they've been talking about it. We likely may not get a X-Force film and if the DP film every happens Singer will most likely ignore the Origins version and get a new actor to play the Merc with a Mouth. The Magneto Origins film already got tied in with First Class but Magneto has a lot of stories to be told and similar to Jennifer Lawrence they should use Fassbender while he's a hot commodity and Ian McKellen while he's still alive. So some spin-off Erik and Charles films couldn't hurt the franchise especially since Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are older actors (just sayin').
