In the spirit of the '80s, 20th Century Fox has released some interesting promotional images for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. The images are song cover albums, featuring Charles Xavier's gifted youngsters in their own Mutant Mashups with some of the best hits from the 1980s. The artwork combines the young X-Men with hits from David Bowie, Duran Duran, Corey Hart, Boy George, and Flock of Seagulls.

Let us know which album cover mashup is your favorite in the comments section below.

"Sunglasses At Night" by Corey Hart

"Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran

"I Ran" by Flock Of Seagulls

"Church of the Poison Mind" by Boy George

"Let's Dance" by David Bowie

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27th, 2016.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

My favorite is the Let's Bamf one, but I have a feeling whoever made the Jean Grey / Boy George cover was messing with Fox.

@Kadara - released in 1976. Song would still be in heavy rotation in '83 (as it is today), but not what they were going for here, I think.

Though Boy George doesn't work for 1983 either - it's a total-80s mashup with these covers.
