wow this looks like crap! haha...I'm sorry, I had my doubts about this movie from the beginning and everything I see of it backs up my doubts...that japanese teeny-pop in the background didn't help either :P

They sound pretty sure that everbody is going to think that this movie is amazing. I'm not liking what I see so far.

When you try to appeal to everyone...

You end up appealing to no one.

This movie looks horrible, that scene with grandpa gohan dying looks terribly acted and I think I remember something similar in Star Wars, Spider-man, and many more.

after seeing Snyder put Watchmen almost literally from page to screen, its heartbreaking that someone is shredding a story as beloved as DB.
have some respect for the fans, surely thats the main point of an adaptation, because the fans made it popular in the first place.

connor craig, this looks terrible, and your inability to accept someone elses opinion and bashing whoever doesn't think the same way as you do, just makes you look stupid. I like comic books that are made with care and quality, I like movies that are made with care and quality, I like most art that is made with care and quality, but this.... this DBE atrocity is just horrible, I hope you and the 6 10 year olds in the movie theater enjoy it, because no one else will.

The only salvageable thing is the score, the rest is just crap.

And I'm not going against you just to spite you. You give very good points. But i'm not going to change my opinions on this movie because of someone i've never met, and most likely never going to meet, wants me to.

ok people have a lot of mixed feelings for this...the beginning weeks of hearing about the movie, everyone says it was gonna suck badly, then liuke last month everyone said it was gonna be good, then everyone is saying it's gonna be bad. I honestly think the actings gonna suck but wtvr. I mean not every director making a comic book movie is gonna do what Zack Snyder did with Watchmen and 300. It's not gonna be like Sin City where you're gonna see things from the book right in the scene. You can't make something like Dragonball as perfect as the Manga or anime. But you can always try. And there ARE some exceptions, some things us fans can get angry at, like Krillin not being in the movie. Why in hell wouldm't they put in Krillin and yet put in someone we've never heard of???. But yeah you just can't get it completely right all the time y'know? And also, don't we want to see what they get right and what they don't usually? Us comic book fans always look for what's right and what isn't and when one little thing is wrong, we overexaggerate don't we? I'm looking at this movie in a positive light and when I see it, I expect grade B (or C) acting and of course, I'll look for things that are right or wrong but IMO, I think it is fairly adapted from the manga/anime. And just so no one overexaggerates, I said "fairly" not "well" or "very well". I would tell everyone to give it the slightest chance but I'm not any one of you so it is completely your choice.

P.S. I really like James Marster's voice as Piccolo. And did you guys notice this? When they were giving him the interview, you could see his name and then under his name was "Evil Lord Piccolo". Maybe in the end, he does become good or maybe in a sequel he becomes good. Hmm...*hint hint?*

well said crappybumbum thats wat im trying to get across. its never gonna be perfect but u can try. and i mean come on dragonball is a challenging movie to make. and so far i have seen a few horrible mistakes like krillen not bein in the film but i feel that stupid thing 2 do but ive also seen some good things good things about the movie like thier costumes and the scenery and also i may not like justin chatwin but i feel so far wat ive seenof him he IS the right person to play Goku.some people like noobmike just show their not true comicbookmovie fans because everything cant be perfect so u just have 2 look at the good points and watch the film for wat it is.and i feel dragonball will be a fun movie to watch :D

I just got done watching it and it was disappointing if what your looking for is an exact replica of the manga/anime. Like most of you i have seen every episode to the DB/DBZ/DBGT series and every movie so i'm expecting what most of you are expecting. Personally the acting was B-rated and the fighting needed more time before being filmed but for a storyline and Kamehaha effects it was pretty good. The cast wasn't THAT bad either (Bulma is hot lol).

I can comfortably say this movie is a hate it or love it but if the next movie has Vegeta in it, they need to step up their game like another 100 levels or there will be riots....
