With my last Justice League FanCast receiving mixed reviews i've decided to have another crack at it. So here are my new and hopefully improved choices for earths greatest protectors:
Justice League Movie cast: Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent: Henry Cavill piZap.com fun and easy photo editing Sticking With Cavill for this one, not only because he is already cast in Man of Steel but because I genuinely believe he is the best for the role.
Batman/Bruce Wayne: Jake Gyllenhaal piZap.com fun and easy photo editing Decided to go with a younger Batman this time around. After much deliberation I settled on Gyllenhaal. He has the physique needed for the role (see Prince of Persia) and the acting ability to do it justice.
Wonder Woman/Diana: Paula Patton piZap.com fun and easy photo editing After the response I got to Hillary Swank in this role, I decided to go back to the drawing board. This time round im going with Mission Impossibles Paula Patton. I think she has the perfect mix of beauty and physical toughness to do great in the role of the Amazonian princess.
Again I think (despite the picture) her costume needs to for-go the iconic one piece swimsuit costume for the black pants version shown in the new 52#.
Green Lantern/John Stewart: Idris Elba piZap.com fun and easy photo editing With Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern being either hate it or love it in the eyes of fans i've decided to go with John Stewart for green lantern to avoid the controversy. Originally I had used Elba for J'onn but I think he was to good in this role to not cast him.
The Flash/Barry Allen: Jesse Spencer piZap.com fun and easy photo editing Sticking with Jesse Spencer for Barry Allen was a no brainer. As those of you who are familiar with the TV show "House M.D" will know, Spencer not only looks good in a lab coat has the acting talent to easily pull of the role of Barry Allen. Also his slim and yet muscular build means he ticks both boxes required to become a believable Flash.
Aquaman/Arthur Curry: Charlie Hunnam piZap.com fun and easy photo editing I've always been a fan of the bearded Aquaman but Hunnam could play either. Those familiar with Son's of Anarchy will know Hunnam. I think he has the acting ability and swimmer style physique to make a great Aquaman.
Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz/John Jones: Dennis Haysbert piZap.com fun and easy photo editing Having moved Idris Elba to the role of John Stewart, I decided to go with Haysbert. He like Elba has the perfect voice and frame for CG work and as shown in the Unit he has the acting ability to be great in this role.
Conclusion: In any fan-cast you will never please all who read it, as everyone has their own opinions, that being said ive tried to take on board as much from my first try at this cast to hopefully have made this one more appealing to everyone.
