Teen Titans Series FanCast

Teen Titans Series FanCast

The way I imagine a Teen Titans TV series cast would look. Featuring Nightwing, Robin, Wonder Girl, Superboy, Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, Impulse, Aquagirl, Deathstroke, Raven, Brother Blood, Red Arrow, etc.

I know some of these people are probably going to be shot down, and I'm cool with that, just shows what you guys think on them. They are all supposed to be in high school, the cast is mainly 20 something year olds, I tried not to make them too old though, usually 25 or so was the oldest, sense Tom Welling was 24 when he began playing Clark, right? Let's start with the heroes:

- Kevin Zeggers as Nightwing

I like to tend to leave it to acting ability mostly, but Zeggers looks like he could play a good Nightwing. That's not to say he's a bad actor though, because he's actually got the acting to back it up! He's an excellent actor, it just feels like he doesn't have a specific role to define him, just check out Frozen.

Nightwing would be like a leader or teacher to the Titans, after they're sent away for different reasons each. He's supposed to be like their "watcher" and keep them out of trouble, but there will still be lots of Nightwing badass-ness.

- Ryan Kelley as Robin - Tim Drake

I loved him when he was younger on Smallville, which as some of you on this forum know I only started to watch a few months ago, so his role was pretty fresh in my mind. I went to see what he had been up to and saw that he done a Ben 10 live action movie, liking the Ben 10 concept anyways I watched a bit of it. He seemed pretty secure in a hero like role, so I figure he's got a good frame and such for Robin, it could work.

Robin and Batman were fighting random thugs when Robin was stabbed, Batman didn't think he was up to fighting crime anymore so he sent away to be safe and stay with Nightwing, but he wouldn't stay away from crime...

- Robbie Amell as Superboy

I'll be honest, the kid just looks like a fit for Superboy. Nobody else seemed to fit... I'd be open to suggestions on this one. Lol

The people of Smallville saw Superboy using his powers in order to save The Kent's. Not willing to risk anything The Kent's needed to send him away until the people forget what they saw, after talking to Superman who knew Batman was sending Robin away as well Superboy was also sent to Bludhaven to stay hidden.

- Ashley Benson as Wonder Girl - Cassie Sandsmark

A cute young blonde, she fits. I like Ashley though, she's a fantastic actress whom I've enjoyed sense her small role on Supernatural.

Wonder Woman (who also heard about everyone being sent to Bludhaven) decided it was time for Cassie to leave the island and learn about the real world and attend real school and all that jazz. Cassie is focused on her studies at first while Superboy and Robin are not.

- Max thieriot as Beast Boy

He's got a slender build, and if you've seen My Soul To Take you see that he can play odd, and an outcast, that's pretty much how I imagine Beast Boy, simply based on the Titans cartoon from a few years back though.

Beast Boy joins by being found after using his powers to do crazy stuff to those he doesn't like, simply for laughs, not harming anyone. Once Teen Titans find him and his powers he's asked to join them.

- Jean-Luc Bilodeau as Impulse

He just seems to fit to me, what else can I say? He's slim like Bart... he was great in Trick r Treat, but needs a bigger role, why not this?

Impulse secretly uses his powers to do the obvious, win lots of prizes and trophies in track races and such. The Titans notice, and make him join.

- Shanae Grimes as Aquagirl

Great young actress, she always has been. She's quirky and fun, and judging by her role on 90210 she likes water, right? Lol

Bart is interested in a girl (Aquagirl) as he watches her swim he notices that she can control the water and stuff, when he confronts her about it and tells her about the team she's interested in joining.

- Raymond Ablack as Blue Beetle - Jamie Reyes

Sure, he's not even white, but hey, that diversity isn't it? Lol, but really Ablack shined on Degrassi (whatever, it's a good show lol) and deserves to be known more! He's also got a good look for Kyle IMO, the hair and all kinda works.

Reyes finds the special scarab one day and knowing what's happening about the formation of the new young hero team he learns the secret identities with ease somehow but doesn't plan on telling anyone, so he's accepted into the team.

- Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Barbara Gordon

For some reason she seems perfect in this role to me! Sure, Barbara has red hair and she doesn't, but Barbara has always been that really cute girl, and that's Mary! She also just needs to be involved in this because I love her...

Barbara retired from being Batgirl, but is not Oracle or in a wheel chair. She just wants to be out of the business, but Nightwing is upset about this and still loves her.

- Emily Browning as Raven

Browning always just got the kinda of depressed or something look that totally works for Raven! She's also a phenomenal actress that I've taken a shine too!

Not sure how Raven would come in sense I haven't decided if I'd even use her yet or not, just thought I'd share my pick. Lol

The Villains:

- Ron Pearlman as Deathstroke / Slade Wilson

Nobody else could even be considered. Pearlman is just born to play Slade! I never saw it but I heard he did the voice on the cartoon, which helps.

Slade Wilson would be mayor of Bludhaven in this universe, he knows there's young superheroes in his town and he intends to find out who's stopping all the crime he allows.

- James Marsters as Clock King

Marsters is one amazing actor, and you can't have a good show without him in it in some capacity tbh. I mean he's had parts on Hawaii Five-0 and Supernatural, that proves my point kinda. He needs a solid role these days though not just a guest spot.

Clock King, William Tockman would be principle of Bludhaven high, which all the heroes attend. He knows the heroes go to his school and uses that to his advantage to try and discover their identities. He's more of a big picture guy.

Alex Pettyfer as Sebastian Blood / Brother Blood

Great young actor, he's always played a good guy, but based on his acting he seems like he would be more suited for a villain.

Brother Blood would really be Teen Titans biggest challenge, the kind of main villain. In their age group, relating to them, but wanting to kill them.

- Garrett Hedlund as Red Arrow

Garrett is damn good actor, used to playing a rebel with his role in Tron, that's what he would be playing as Red Arrow.

Roy Harper would be a college student, while the members of Teen Titans are all in high school. He becomes romantically involved with a member of The Titans, little do they know he's the man who's been annoying them as of late, Red Arrow.

Neutral:

- Lennie James as Fate - Jared Stevens

Lennie James is one of the best actors around, and fits in a wise mysterious role that Fate would play.

Jared Stevens would be a teacher at Bludhaven high, he found the ancient artifacts blade, darts, armband that the Dr. Fate stuff was made into and is trying to figure out what they're all about. Neutral to Teen Titans.

- Vanessa Hudgens as Zatanna

Vanessa Hudgens is a decent actress, I like her despite her relations to the disney high school musical stuff that might bring her down as a mature actress in some eyes. She's got the perfect look for Zatanna, when I thought Zatanna she was the only person that came to mind.

Zatanna would be wise and help Titans from time to time, but never be around full time.

- Dianna Argon as Black Canary - Dinah Lance

I was against Argon at first due to her part on Glee honestly, but I've come around on her as of late, she's become a good up and coming actress. She'd seem like a good badass like Canary.

Black Canary would first appear as a simple thief that Teen Titans stops, but losses before they can bring her into custody. They take interests in her and they come to respect one another.

- Joe Manganiello as The Question

I always see Manganiello suggested as Superman, but to me he's just not. I do like him as The Question though, I'm not quite sure why when someone like Misha Collins whom I love (curse you whoever took the username Castiel!) would fit, but I'm just drawn to Manganiello for the role.

I'm not quite sure how The Question would fit into the series yet, likely hired by Slade Wilson to discover the secret identities of the Teen Titans, but end up not doing it wanting to be a good guy. I just really want to try and write The Question, maybe he'd end up getting a spin off? Lol

Hopefully one day I'll actually have wrote this and put it up on this site!

If it's supposed to be a Teen Titans show, why is the group named Young Justice?

Kakarot - 11/9/2011, 6:38 PM
Sorry, that was my bad. I wrote this up when I was calling it Young Justice, but it made much more sense for it to actually be Teen Titans, and I forgot to change it... disregard the group name, please. Lol

Never mind the fact that Kyle Rayner was walking out of a bar when he was chosen for the GLC, let's put him in Teen Titans! He wouldn't have any responsibilities like, say, saving the universe.

to edit, go into the members area, click on the left where it says my articles, then on the title line where it shows all the articles you've typed, on the far right there will be a little check mark looking thing. click that.

surprisingly not a bad cast. there's a few i don't agree with, but I love it overall.

Wonder Girl isn't actually amazonian. Cassie is the daughter of Zeus, and was just trained by the amazons.

Zegers is excellent for Dick, But MEW as Barbs is bad. MEW is a great actress, but I just do not see her as Barbara. At all.

I think this is a real great cast, most of them fit the rolls pretty well. I dont think we need GL in the Titans. Even though raymond Ablack isn't white, he actually could be a good Kyle. I am not a big fan of Vanessa H.

Robbie Amell is a great choice for Super Boy and Garrett Hudland is a fantastic choice for Red Arrow / Arsenal. M E W as Barbara Gordon is great. Emily Browning is cool for Raven but i would prefer Ellen Page. I also know of another person that is perfect for Raven but I can't think of her name right now. if it comes to me i will post it, but obviously i have the worst memory so i will probably forget to try to remember after i post this. Anyways, all in all it is a good post.

casting for robin, nightwing and kyle rayner doesnt seem to be too great but i really like ablack for rayner for some reason - very cool

no to vanessa hudgens partly on principle and partly cos of sucker punch.... - no to emily browning for the same reason, plus i'm waiting on that sleeping beauty movie to see if she can do anything dramatic as all i've seen her in is lemony snicket and sucker punch

@Moakynubs Well you know, there was the whole thing with him being in the Titans at one point in reality...

I couldn't find someone good enough for Cyborg so I decided not to include him, sorry Airrun.

Thanks for the all the comments though guys, I lie hearing what you like and dislike.

I was thinking about changing Ablack's role from GL to Blue Beetle, could have pretty much the same way of joining the Titans, and Beetle is a much more prominent member of the Titans then Rayner anyways.

What do you have against teen titans being played by.......teens?

Jean-Luc Bilodeau is also my choice for Spider-Man in a live-action Spider-Man TV Series.

@TheSoulEater Well it's not like there's actually very many known teen actors out there. Besides, all of the people I chose are used to playing teenagers anyways.

@AutobotCommander Bilodeau just seems like he'd make a good small (thin) superhero, doesn't he? Lol

I like the pick for Tim Drake's character.Everyone is else like uh...I don't know.Manganiello is thought up as superman to alot of fans but he would look better playing the part of Mon-El rather than someone like the quenstion. This casting call should be given a c.And oh yeah Lucas Grabeel for Superboy!
