Starting to get hyped for this (which is hard in a word where we have Star Wars resurrected).

@TheSoulEater - Depends on how you look at it. 7 Star Wars films, two were great, ROTJ & ROTS were good at times but only OK films. TPM & AOTC were terrible. Force Awakens was a cheap, fan made, derivative that tried to be Star Wars, employed the old guys who needed some money. But lacked artistic ability & added absolutely nothing to the mythology. It took from Star Wars but gave nothing back.

Star Wars TV is mildly entertaining.

Star Trek has had 1 great film. A couple good and the rest mediocre to horrible.

But there's many hours of great Trek TV.

So of all Star Wars live action, maybe 25% is great. 25% OK. 50% terrible.

Star Trek live action film & TV 35% great. 45% OK. 20% terrible.

Film VS Film series SW 25% great VS ST 5% great.

So Star Trek films are garbage. But with the TV it does provide far more hours of good entertainment than two great Star Wars films. And 5 Star Wars films with a few good scenes each.

@ManDeth -

But you're right , and that's actually a very indepth look at the matter.

Each play to their strength's excellently, and lag behind in their weaknesses glaringly.

This new mobile layout is interesting.

It's a little clunky and the preview images could be smaller, but overall GREAT work @NateBest

@BatmanHeisenberg - Thanks for the feedback! It's tough because the viewport could be several different sizes... I actually had it smaller to begin with, but then when I looked on one of my other mobile devices they were too small, so I modified it to be a bit larger. That's probably the biggest thing that will need to be modified. I like the article, video and picture pages (so far at least).

@NateBest - Fair, fair. Have you thought about a mobile app?

@BatmanHeisenberg - Some, but I think a mobile version can accomplish the same thing and is much easier to do.

If you know your Trek i have a theory. The ship Kirks crew finds stranded on an alien planet is the NX-02 Columbia. We've already seen shots of Spock wearing a ENT style flight jacket with a Columbia patch. Btw im getting TNG vibes from the Uniform Spock is wearing as seen above.

If Admiral Archer shows up ill probably flip my shiz.

Having high hopes for this and the upcoming series. Hopefully we will get a teaser with footage of the new crew.

Anyone else sick of Giacchino's tongue-in-cheek song titles?

Jurassic World, The Incredibles, LOST, John Carter...

@Feedthemachine - I think its great! At least it doesn't spoil the movie for you. There is nothing worse than looking at the tracklisting and there is a major spoiler revealed somewhere in the title.
