More Of That Big Twist Spoiled In Latest TV Spot For TERMINATOR GENISYS

At this point, it's fair to say that Terminator Genisys is either going to be great or downright awful. In this latest TV spot for the Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) helmed movie, we get to see more of that big twist with John Connor and plenty of awesome action...

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Courtney B. Vance, and J.K. Simmons, Terminator Genisys is set to be released on July 1st.

It's going to be a fun action flick. Every action flick this year has been just bonkers.

That TV spot used the music in the Thor: The Dark World trailer.

Even though I think they both look like garbage, I'd probably go see this over Jurassic Park. Go figure, right?

I'll be there opening night. I'm just going into it like I did for San Andreas and Mad Max, which was not very optimistic. That way, if it ends up surprising me, then hey, money well spent.

I haven't been paying much attention to this movie. What's the big twist?

If this is rated R then I'll maybe have hope but if its PG-13 like it 95% will be then I have no desire to see this.

Will I see it though? Probably. I like to inflict pain on myself.

@dethpillow

Allow me, for a moment, to drop the polysyllabic dialogue and speak plainly about some of our more "problem children":

Some of these mother[frick]ers are just one-dimensional, bitch-tit, complaining, whining, unappreciative sacks of mule shit. You could multiply their collective intelligence by a factor of 100 and still generate only enough power to toast bread...........LIGHTLY at that. They won't be happy until the world entire caters to them. Which means that they'll NEVER be happy and will always complain. While their whiny bitching is annoying, at times, I still enjoy it as few things make me as happy as their unappreciative misery. This site puts up with them, and that's okay, but as @Jollem said: Have fun with their misery. I've stopped having to buy salt, now that I'm flavoring my meals with the tears of butt-torn fanboys.

Am I the only one who realises that Arny has two different hair colours in clips in this film...one clip its grey, next clip its brown. And I'm not talking about the horrible CGI Arny I'm talking about old Arny!

@craigmc54 The hair colour change is owing to the fact that the film involves time travel.

I think only Sarah and Reece travel leaving THe Terminator to grow older, hence the hair change.
