New Footage In International TERMINATOR: GENISYS TV Spot

The new trailer stirred up quite a bit of debate here on CBM, and this latest TV ad is bound to do the same because that's Sarah and John Connor kissing in the thumbnail pic! Okay, it's actually Kyle Reece.... but you just wouldn't know with this movie.

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Courtney B. Vance, and J.K. Simmons, Terminator Genisys is set to be released on July 1st.

So... its not really John Connor, its actually a Terminator that just happens to look like him and have his memories.

In addition, this movie has given away the only twist that would have made it worth watching, now we know the twist their isnt anything of interest other than a rehash of what the other Terminator films gave us.

That second trailer was actually a good thing
Because it made it clear that it wasn't a rehash of Terminator 2 and 3 which were basically the same thing. Killer bot comes to kill John O'Connor and Arnold protects him.

You can actually see that there's more to the story this time.

This seems interesting enough to make go watch it in the Cinema, but I'll go with my hopes down. I need something to make me stand the wait for Ant-Man...

Man Called Sting, how am I "crapping on" this? I posted the tv spot cos it had new footage and made a joke about the movie in the teaser while I was at it. Grow a sense of humor.

It does look shit mind you...

So Kyle and Sarah still end up together in this timeline, but Kyle stays alive this time, at least according to Jai Courtney signed on to the next movie already

@RorMachine

Hey, I appreciate you making articles and all but go easy on my wife, alright? It's like her first big blockbuster and she's still trying to nail the American accent; no kiss and tell stuff.
