I really don't know if I'm a fan of Devastator riding around on a wheel.

and i happen to like Devastator on the wheel, it's different, but not too pretentious or campy. fits the transformers world Bay has congealed. just hope he stops producing horror films now...

that will be a hit, but i wish they would of broke devastator up in a team instead of one giagantic robot.

No offense, but how did anything he said in that Toyfare article indicate that what we saw in the trailer isn't Devastator and only part of him? He did not come out and say that the robot at the end of the trailers/teasers are not Devastator. All he did was give specs for how tall Devastator would be (100 -120 feet.)

If you go on the low end of that, 100 feet, that only makes Devastator about three times as tall as Optimus Prime. That is easily the size of the robot we see at the end of the trailer/teaser.

And the picture you have posted in that article has been rumored to be just a concept drawing and not what Devastator will actually look like.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I have two points:

1. The robot at the end of the trailer looks like its arms are actually two other transformers. Thus not just ONE part of Devastator.

2. I'm going by empirical evidence (what I can see.) Remember that Michael Bay said that he's put out a lot of red herrings in regards to this movie. In other words, I don't believe anything that anybody involved in the movie has to say. Not saying it's not true. I'm just saying I'll believe what I see before what I read in this instance

I would compromise by saying this. Maybe what we see at the end of the trailer is just half of Devastator i.e. two arms and half the body. Either way you can't argue that what we see is only 1 part of Devastator. It's just too damn big.

Its not that big when Optimus actually jumps on it at the end of the trailer... Not even twice his height. The arms are 2 earthmovers, though...

ya but didnt in a different article besides the toyfare artcicle, a producer or even Bay said that the robot in the trailer wasnt devestator? he siad that that was only part of devestator

sweetness, slideswipe's entrance was awesome and optimus looks like he gets smoked. with all of the bots in it, it kind of reminds me of the terminator 4 movie previews.

@MoonDoggyX, Optimus jumped on a peice of Devastor. That was the Wheelie. Devastor might will be the hugest robot in the movie.

. I think this trailer is showing part of devastator in its primary stage. We can clearly see the two arms being totally disproportionate in comparison to the rest of the body; I think devastator is looking for the other constructicons in this trailer.

. I also think great part of the movie is gonna be about the Autobots wanting to stop devastator from becoming the complete version of itself, while the decepticons will push for the opposite. Think about it, what autobot can face the complete version of devastator? Prime can barely grab devastators head.

. The fallen might either be Megatron, the "obvious" character they could be referring to, or maybe the whole decepticon crew. Why not? Since they've all lost in the first movie. They are probably looking for revenge.

. I think starscream as the new decepticon leader will look for something to gain more power to prevent megatron from returning as the head of the decepticons, and maybe devastator is that backup.Perhaps this will divide the decepticons and some sill prefer to stay loyal to megatron like soundwave, who will probably be the one looking for megatron in the desert.

If we think about it, the decepticons are packing a lot of heavy backup. I'm wondering what will be the autobots last line of defense? maybe a different breed of robots, like the dinobots for instance...
