“Afterlife” – As Robert Gonzalez makes his move, Coulson must do whatever it takes to protect the future of S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile Skye’s journey to control her powers takes a surprising turn when she meets the enigmatic Inhuman named Lincoln, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, April 7 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, and Adrianne Palicki. Guest starring are Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, Ruth Negga as Raina, Kyle MacLachlan as Cal, Edward James Olmos as Robert Gonzales, Jamie Harris as Gordon, DichenLachman as Jiaying, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell, Craig Johnson as S.H.I.E.L.D. last episode was mindblowing. story, acting, effects.. it has that cinematic feel now, you can really buy that all of it happens in the same universe as the movies.

All the flashback scenes were good.
I'm sure Coulson will give Mack and Mockingbird a 2nd chance if they do anything to help them beat Gonzalez but I don't think Mack will

Still loving this show! Mockingbird, Hunter, Calvary, and Ward have all had (at least 1 each) some wicked awesome choreography in their fights. Like some of their fights are just spectacular. Like Ward at end of season 1 when he and Skye were in that closet and he leaves her in there to fight off all those soldiers and he just ROMPS on them. This show has so great action and fight scenes, some of the best on television all around.

Im not really getting "The Real Shield's" motivation. If they had a problem with Coulson why didnt they just pop in and say hey i disagree with this and that rather than some elaborate way to do it. Smh. Wasting time on people going towards the same goal. I feel like this plot line was just made to make better tv but it doesnt make logical sense.

I agree with Pedrito. Bobbi will be back with Coulson's team, and Simmons will side with her old mentor, though she may also revert for Fitz's sake by season end.

Really dislike the new direction of the show. Its obvious that the main leader of the 'real shield' is Hydra and its beginning to annoy me. The 'real shield' have no motivation other than to take Coulson out of power despite them seemingly having no issue with this beforehand.

Its all a bunch of the worst kind of TV, atleast beforehand they had villains with understandable motivations. They were Hydra, they wanted control. Now they are just attempting to blur the lines between the groups via making everyone idiotic.

For example;
- Skye saw the eyeless dude before take her father, so she knows her insane father is with the eyeless dude yet went with him anyway ¬.¬
- The real shield simply wants to take the power from Coulson, yet they have no reason to do this because Coulson wasnt an issue
- Simmons wants to 'cure' Skye simply because she fears her, yet the script and acting plays it as if we are supposed to agree with her when she is clearly in the wrong

Its gotten to the stage where i dont dislike the 'real shield' because of how they are developed and i simply dislike them because they have no logical motivation or development. If this is how Civil War and the Inhumans is going to be, a bunch of badly written nonsense, then i will definitely not be watching those films.

I think its pretty obvious that both sides are gonna work something out and become one whole shield again.
