According to Deadline, Adrianne Packicki and Nick Blood are close to signing deals to lead the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff. Plot details are being kept a closely guarded secret, but it's believed that it will focus on the duo following the events of season two (rather than being a prequel shedding light on their past; after all, who needs/wants that?). It's not clear what this will mean for their future involvement with the series or who else might join them, but it's hard to complain about a Marvel TV show starring Mockingbird! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jeffrey Bell and co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski are writing the script and will executive produce. The show won't get an official green light until a script is turned in however. Another new Marvel series on ABC is rumoured to focus on Ms. Marvel. What do you think about these plans?
