“Afterlife” – As Robert Gonzalez makes his move, Coulson must do whatever it takes to protect the future of S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile Skye’s journey to control her powers takes a surprising turn when she meets the enigmatic Inhuman named Lincoln, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, April 7 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. 
 
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, and Adrianne Palicki. 
 
Guest starring are Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, Ruth Negga as Raina, Kyle MacLachlan as Cal, Edward James Olmos as Robert Gonzales, Jamie Harris as Gordon, DichenLachman as Jiaying, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell, Craig Johnson as S.H.I.E.L.D. Leader, Stoney Westmoreland as Honest Eddie, and John Forest as Robbie. 
 
”Afterlife” was written by Craig Titley and directed by Kevin Hooks.

Ep was okay. The closer we get to less agents and more super-powered heroes and villains, the more I will be interested in this show.

Civil War of sorts going on with SHIELD and the Gonzalez faction. I wonder if there is any foreshadowing going on for Cap 3?

Epic is not epic enough to describe the epicocity of the epicness. So much juice. This is not the lead in to AOU but the set up for the aftermath that leads into Civil War. We not have the 2 sides out in the open. Those who want to protect against people with powers and those who want to protect the people with powers. Fairly obvious that WSC is not involved as they haven't been mentioned. Jerky Boy Calderone got what was coming to him when Sky unleashed her powers.

Sky's Powers...wow. Best representation of super powers on a tv show EVAH! This is getting really good.

We also can't hate the new shield and hard to hate Mac as much as we did last ep. They were all loyal shield agents who got caught in between a rock and a hard place and came to reasonable conclusions, just not the one that most of us would like.

Bobby also turned at the end after seeing Calderone using real bullets against Sky and I think she will go against the real shield at some point. Break out May and the rest of the team and go to find Coulson.

@Crabnado: Gonzales whole problem with Coulson is that he might be an instrument of aliens after getting that blood transfusion. They seem pretty anti-alien specifically, as that is currently the source of nearly all of the powers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Asgardians, Kree, Chitauri...

I don't see a problem with the adaptation of SWORD being more focused on powers in general after the one major event in continuity was an alien invasion.

Fury gave Bobby a mission to destroy the ship and "whatever is on it!!!" Another mystery and another reason I think Bobby will turn against the Gonzalez faction in the end. Power Haters vs Power Lovers.

Coulson was a little off but that doesn't negate the fact that Whitehall was after the Obelisk for Hydra and crazy or not he prevented Inhuman Tech from falling into the wrong hands. So he has a little Kree in him. BFD.
