This episode was amazing right up until they revealed it was one massive AOU commercial.

But that scene with Skye and the gun-fu (ala John Wick) was the tits. Arrow needs to see if it can borrow AOS's choreographer.

Was Maria Hill at Avengers Tower when she called Coulson? That episode was amazing when Coulson suggested for
Hill to call the Avengers!!

Plus Raina mentioned man-made robot! That was sweet!!

Looks like Skye learned a few moves from Daredevil. If she can feel the vibrations of everything, doesn't that kind of give her senses similar to DD?

The choreography & cinematography for that scene with sky was legitimately my favourite thing I've ever seen on shield. So beautifully put together! Although, when she ran out of bullets it would have been so cool if she used her quake powers until she got the new gun, but that probably would have made the shot hella complicated to execute. All in all, great episode! There were some funny lines, good effects, great fight scenes, references to the wider MCU that didn't feel shoe-horned... basically everything you want from this show.

Bravo AOS, Bravo.

That episode was FIRE!!!! And I love the cohesiveness with AOU. That's what this show is at times. DD will never be that and that's great. It a different corner of the mcu. Gotta accept that AOS has to serve the greater mcu sometimes. That skye scene was amazing. Choreography was great. Ultron reference was cool. The tie-in is great. Gotta respect the cohesiveness of this universe. IT'S LIKE A COMIC BOOK ON SCREEN. Coulson working for Hill is so cool. I'd like to think when The Avengers ask hill where she got the intel, she says it's from some small loyal shield faction that she trusts leftover from the hydra war. doesn't mention coulson.

The original team got back together and it was very interesting to see the dynamics between the characters. Can't tell if Ward is evil and was manipulating the other team members or if he is evil but truly believes he is a good guy.

Skye's shootout was an impressive scene. Initially thought it was Agent May. Gonzalez face when Coulson mentioned Fury and got the call from Maria Hill was priceless.

WAIT!!!! Raina mentions how Ultron drones destroy there city. ANYONE NOTICE THE FOOTAGE FROM TRAILERS OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE IRON MAN STANDING NEAR AN ASIAN LIKE TEMPLE AND OR RURAL AREA?!?! AND there's a scene where the drones are climbing cliffs and mountain sides.....could be where the I human city is

So are The Twins not inhumans??? They said they were enhanced by alien tech...the inky receptive survivors. Does that mean they could be inhuman cause they responded well to alien enhancements or they're just lucky humans haahah

That Skye scene was f***** amazing! It was so good that I totally forgot she shouldn't be able to be so bad ass. And the final scenes and the after credit promo... I hate marvel for releasing it a week in advance

@antman8o8 I think it could be the inhuman city. I know SOKOVIA is an eastern European locale....there is a scene where the drones are climbing a mountainside of some sort and iron man is standing in a field with lotus tress....I really think so. You could be right.

@Irvinlr88 noticed what I'm talking about. you see what I'm talking about. Yessir. I've heard that aou is really cohesive and connective in reviews

You guys are going to have such a great time seeing how this little tie in works (although you can probably guess). I'd already watched AoU before this episode so I knew how this episode was going to end. Won't spoil the movie for you though, obviously.

I was so certain (I thought) about where they were going with this REAL SHIELD plot and its connection to AoU, but it looks like I was all wrong. The Avengers are called in by Coulson (without realizing it), not Gonzales, after all.
