Chloe Bennet Says Playing An Inhuman On AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Is "Really Awesome"
With the newest episode of Marvel's Agents Of Shield airing tonight, Chloe Bennet reveals how she first learned about her Inhuman transformation, talks wanting a costume, and told how her new "powers" changed how it felt to be on the set. Hit the jump to check it out!
While talking with Comic Book Resources, Chloe Bennet reveals how she first learned about Skye's connection to the Inhumans. "Like, in hair and makeup the day we shot it, basically." She jokes, "No, they told me probably about two days before, but I found out and kept it a secret, which is really impressive for me." After saying she thought she was going to be She-Hulk, she explains how she felt when she first heard about the Inhumans film, "I try not to think too much of it because look at her right now." She then continues, "That just sums it up. It's really cool, because the day I found out was the day they announced all the movies, or the day after. I was like, "The 'Inhumans' movie? Who's going to be in that one?!" I'm really excited!"
When asked about how her powers changed how she works on set, she says, "It's really awesome, post-production, once you have powers, but while you're shooting it, nothing feels more dumb than pretending that you're awesome with powers and not having any powers at all." She then says even though it's a little weird, it's a really awesome experience, " You're just in a room with a bunch of dudes with cameras and you're just pretending to have earthquake powers and that's just a little weird. But it's really, really awesome."
After watching one of the clips for tonight's episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. it looks as though Skye's Inhuman secret might be up! This episode will star Lady Sif from Asgard, and even though she won't be in costume, it will still be great seeing her on the show! Speaking of costumes, Chloe Bennet reveals that she's really itching to get one as the series goes along, "I really want that really bad, like a jumpsuit.
