New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Promo Poster Features Edward James Olmos As 'Robert Gonzales'

We got our first brief glimpse of this mysterious new character in the promo for next week's episode, but now we have a scan of a promotional poster for "Love In The time Of Hydra", giving us a much better look at the Battlestar Galactica actor as Robert Gonzales.

It would seem Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) is the man in charge of whatever secret operation Bobbi and Mack are in the middle of, and we'll officially be introduced to this enigmatic new character during next week's episode. Whatever his motives are, the poster below certainly suggests that he'll be at odds with Coulson and his more loyal team-mates anyway. Do you think Gonzales will wind up being an established Marvel character?

Pretty sure this new Shield is actually an adaption of the Mutant X storyline merged with S.W.O.R.D and altered slightly to apply to Inhumans.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. was mentioned briefly in the Mutant X alternate universe series as a murderous anti-mutant group. S.H.I.E.L.D. stood for Saviours of Humanity by Intervention in the Evolution of Life-form Deviants. Their story is elaborated on later as one of their own gains powers"

Edward James Olmos (Robert Gonzales) would be playing an adaptation of Henry Peter Gyrich a Co-Director of S.W.O.R.D. and a major player in Civil War. He would essentially serve to be the main force hunting Inhumans in the series.

@Scarilian @TheGodButcher

I think you guys may be on to something there. Mac's comments about Skye being dangerous seem to be an indication of this "other Shield's" attitudes on handling people with super human abilities. Or maybe not. We'll see I guess.

@GliderMan
That's pretty much the opposite of what everyone else has been whining about when it comes to this show. They say they want more comic-book characters in the show. This is why whining will never sway anyone actually making these shows, because no matter what they do someone will complain about it...
