SEASON FINALE

THE INHUMANS' ENDGAME IS REVEALED, ON THE TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF ABC'S "MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D."

"S.O.S.," Part One and Part Two" - S.H.I.E.L.D. puts everything on the line to survive a war that blurs the line between friend and foe. Coulson and his team will be forced to make shocking sacrifices that will leave their relationships and their world changed forever, on the two-hour season finale of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," TUESDAY, MAY 12 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

After helping to thwart Hydra, Agent Phil Coulson was appointed as Director and tasked with rebuilding the agency. Agent Melinda May, expert pilot, martial artist and longtime friend, will continue to look after Coulson in the wake of the mysterious etchings he's been carving into walls. Grant Ward, highly trained in combat and espionage, was found to be a Hydra mole and a traitor to S.H.I.E.L.D. and locked up away from the world and his former teammates. But this isn't the last we've seen of him... After being left to die in the middle of the ocean by Ward, Agent Leo Fitz, brilliant engineer, and Agent Jemma Simmons, genius bio-chemist, found a way to escape their watery grave. But all did not go well for Fitz, who was left in a coma and may never regain his full cognitive functions; a devastating blow to Simmons. And computer hacker Skye, now a full-fledged S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, discovered her origins as a 0-8-4 — an object of unknown origin — and that her parents were considered "monsters." Could Skye have darkness lying dormant inside of her? Also joining Coulson's core team is Lance Hunter, a dashing mercenary sharp shooter with a quick wit. Since he didn't rise up through the ranks, does he have an ulterior motive for helping out the team.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Brett Dalton as Grant Ward
Chloe Bennet as Skye
Iain De Caestecker as Leopold "Leo" Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Nick Blood as Lance Hunter
Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns May 5

@MutantWarrior

I can't [frick]ing stand it. It looks like bad practical effects plus bad cgi mixed in. And do not get me started on Raina's cheap ass pleather folding neck.

What is hiding is the ships storage. I have a strong feeling that it is Graviton, actually I guess I am hoping that it is Graviton.

That guy doesn't have CGI, it's all make up. And besides that his teletransportation always looks really great.

I hope Ward is back in the finale. He's the only character I really care about on this show any more.

@MarvelousAgentX we know it's not graviton because whatever is on that ship was there the day SHIELD fell. We know that graviton was at The Fridge that day. And last we saw HYDRA had it.

This weeks episode was fantastic. The team being back together was awesome, and Skye's fight scene was amazing. Good stuff going on right now. :)

I doubt Medusa would be brought in for AOS. She has cinematic value.

and Simmons, I didn't think she had it in her to try to kill Ward.

People hating on this show are just "trolls". This show may not be "epic"(few things are), but it is very, very good. Skye's "John Wick" scene was so badass. It was very "Daredevil" (Netflix) like. Very cool for network tv, no matter what the show.

Those that complain about Agents of Shield don't like shows like Agents of Shield. They say they like comic books and comic book shows but AOS isn't. It's a show based on a cinematic universe. There are a few characters that exist in the comicbooks but at the end of that day they arent' based on comics the way Arrow, Flash, Atom, DD are.

For what it is, a spy, sci fi show, it's freaking great. I love the show it's go great pacing and no wasted episodes. It's better this season over last and it gets more interesting every episode which is what you want if you are making a show like this.

Look, lads, and lasses. Gather up. Listen well.

I have been on the Agents of SHIELD train since DAY ONE.

I KNEW this show was gonna pay off HUGE. Sure, there were some off moments in Season One, but I had my faith in the show, and my faith paid off in SPADES.

Most shows take a season or two to find its "sea legs". It takes time for a cast, and a crew, to find its natural rhythm. But I could see from the very beginning that this was gonna be one VERY special ride. And I was right.

SO many things right with this show, especially as one of the threads winding through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, unifying bits and pieces here and there into one beautiful tapestry. Just a fanboy's dream, if he had the will and the ability to stay true and wait intil The Big Picture was revealed.

So, now, on the threshold of Age of Ultron and after the penultimate episode of Season Two, look back. See where we all have gone, those who have trekked through all the episodes, looking back through all we have seen.

Can we now, we who love this show, seriously say that a single moment was truly wasted?

Every Easter Egg, every dropped Avengers reference, every single character-building moment, added up to something else.

Agents of SHIELD is a crossover comic.

This show, simply stated, IS the evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And this week's episode?

Probably the BEST so far.

Skye's lab fight, Ward's Elephant on the Plane confession, references to The Twins, and Coulson calling in The Avengers down on Sokovia through Maria Hill.

And, yes, the humor.

Come ON.

This has EVOLVED from its humble beginnings into one HELL of a freaking show.
bropous
bropous - 4/30/2015, 9:01 AM
Oh, yeah.

And the allusion to Black Bolt's and Maximus' power struggle (Jailing and Rayna) within the ranks of The Inhumans.

And WHAT a freaking beautiful redhead we are to see next week! No, that ain't Medusa. But a relative...?

No, not Crystal either.
bropous
bropous - 4/30/2015, 9:06 AM
@dethpillow: Here's one crazy-assed thought:

What if Coulson was setting up a refugee camp for Inhumans if that exposed city came under attack, setting them up as allies?

Like if references to them had been revealed through Fury's Toolbox?

Man, this show exposes SO many possibilities.

And, yeah.

We're gonna get this show renewed all the way through The Inhumans movie.

Disney owns ABC, and the entire Avengers Film Initiative has made SO many BILLIONS of dollars so far.

AoS is a way of keeping the bonfire of the vanities stoked up quickly by keeping the embers in the forge hot between production runs.

This was all planned.

And ratings? Pffft. They could keep this show going on fourteen people huddled in a Cleveland basement each Tuesday and not worry one rat fart in a whirlwind and not ruffle one single jimmy, because they OWN the freaking network.
bropous
bropous - 4/30/2015, 9:10 AM
@dethpillow: Perhaps the Inhuman city so far seen in this show is just one of many "training academies" meant to integrate Inhumans born "in the wild" into the society of Attilan?
bropous
bropous - 4/30/2015, 9:15 AM
Oh, Holy Shit.

And, if Coulson and SHIELD turn into a refuge for a small group of Inhumans who would otherwise be shunned and distrusted by "The Humans", could THIS be the first crack in the barrier that The Inhumans have erected to insulate themselves from humanity?

And could this be the first thought in Black Bolt's mind to start opening a possibility of opening the door of secrecy from The Inhumans to Mankind?

Oh, gods below, SO many doors could be opened in this very season alone.

This second season of Agents of SHIELD could very well turn out to be the opening door to Phase Four of the MCU.
