Adrianne Palicki Will Portray Wonder Woman In NBC's Live-Action Series!

According to The Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros. has found their lead for NBC's upcoming live-action Wonder Woman series. Adrianne Palicki, whose credits include Friday Night Lights, Red Dawn will star in the pilot from David E. Kelley.

The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman – a.k.a. Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.


Palicki won the role of Wonder Woman being the only actress invited to test for it. And the pilot series will reunite Palicki with the director Jeff Reiner who she worked with on Friday Night Lights for the series' early run on NBC.

Meh...not that interested in Wonder Woman or this TV adaptation. She looks alright I guess, but not how I would of imagined the character. Either way, this sounds like another Smallville in the making. Roll on Marvel Studios' TV announcements! :D

Nice one MF. I have never seen her in anything but she certainly looks the part. But judging by the Tanit Phoenix audition they will be taking this show to some pretty strange places. It might work, but I doubt it.

She was in the Aquaman pilot... and she's been in smallville. AND she was in supernatural. I just recognise her by that mole in the middle of her eyebrows. It's really hard to take your eyes off.. like a car crash.

Who else wants to bet that the show will recieve poor reviews, poorer rating and get cancelled before the season is halfway through? I'm going to save this comment and show it to you all when it happens. :) The script/concept is shit and I cant see it appealing to fans or non-fans!

I like her and have seen her in a bunch of different stuff.But I don't think she looks the Wonder Woman part.But maybe for a tv show it will work.And yeah LEEE,maybe they will use Taylor Cole for a movie version.I think she would make a great WW.She would also be great laying on top of me doing the hibbidy dibbidy.HaHaHa!!!

It's official; DC is not interested in representing it's superhero roster through live action movies.

You have the Batman Nolan films, a failed Superman return to screen, a late Green Lantern movie and a Wonder Woman TV show. Damn. Their priorities are a mess. Jonah Hex? Really? They dont want it as bad as MARVEL. I have accepted this and will not expect anything from DC from now on, save for the scattered movie here and there. Great animated DVD movies though.

I'm sorry, folks, but Wonder Woman's costume will NOT, AND I REPEAT WILL NOT work in the real world. It'll look cheesier than Power Rangers. WAAAY cheesier. Yes, mutha f**kers, I WENT THERE. So sue me or bite me, I know this to be true. Her suit only works in comics. They need to switch it up. I don't care who's cast in the series 'cuz I don't even watch TV, but the outfit needs to be tactical and practical with elements of her original trademark suit, but not the original in it's entirety. Thank you very much.. O_o

And for those who disagree, you're ALL twip-induced virgins that need lives and some real world experiences.
