This scene was describe as "Foot race on Themyscira". Most likely, we would've been
introduced to the other Amazons populating the DC Universe.

ClarkKent1985 and MIIIK, concept art and storyboards aren't meant to be hot stuff like what we mostly see on the comic book shelves... they are meant to give the gist of how the story will flow during pre-production, possible camera angles for filming. They are rarely polished works fit for publication as most of then end up usually being destroyed after the projects are complete.

I really don't get the hate on this site. GREEN LANTERN was a good movie. It blows away CATWOMAN or GHOST RIDER. The WONDER WOMAN animated movie is highly regarded as the best film DC has done in the DVD animated films. WONDER WOMAN is a great character with a LOT of potential for a series of succesful films, so long as they do her right. She has classic villains: the mythical gods, Cheetah, Silver Swan, etc. Also, @Craptain, calibre of comments? Really? Most of the comments on here turn to sex and boob talk. That is the reason I don't read the comments half the time. I can only hope there was a time before that you are referring to when people actually talked about the comics and not referrence everything sexual...

The thing is this is all concept art, i.e. general ideas of what the show could look like, but it was confirmed towards the end that they decided to eschew Dianas Amazonian heritage altogether.
This means this concept of the footrace and frolicking through the forect probabaly would never have made film because they essentially turned WW into a female Batman, giving all her powers and weapons tech based origins instead of mystical.
It's what might have been, not what would have been, and for that Im thankful it never saw the light of day.

No, actually I kinda liked ghost rider, besides the bad villains.

About the WW arts, I'm really sorry they couldn't get it right. I wonder if, in a team composed for, I don't know, 50 leading people, there's noone who truly knew the character and the right mood. Seems every decision here was taken only with "da business" in mind.

Or not even that.

Honestly, I think wonder woman needs a bigger budget, and needs to be done Game of Thrones Style. Epic and with HEAVY mythology. The first Season shouldn't even leave Themyscira. It needs to revolve around her history and the Gods, similar to the animated flick. And They need to hire a really good actress, that has the height 6 ft flat footed at least. Someone with the look in her eyes like Angelina Jolie, not HER but that kind of badass that can mix emotion.

Sucks they dropped the ball. This show may have had potential. We'll never know, though. I'm not thinking the fail had anything to do with DC, though. It was network BS. They tend to be paranoid about ratings instead of letting something fly.

I'd tend to agree, but the audience needs to see her in our world right off the bat. But also in Themyscira. Flashbacks to her growing up, leading to the events that took her off the Island.
